"Let's try this one!"

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

"Pretty please?"

"No."

I stare angrily at Trevor, desperately wanting to ride the haunted ride at the amusement park. How can you not ride the scary ride? It's a freaking classic.

And it wasn't just the scary ride that Trevor didn't want to ride. It was ALL rides. Apparently, when Trevor said he would take me to the amusement park, he didn't expect to actually do anything but walk in circles and sulk.

He was in a bad mood. Ever since our last kiss, he has snapped at me for everything. He has barely talked to me ever since, and when he did, it was in annoyance. He was utterly ridiculous.

"Trevor, we need to do something!" I exclaim, suddenly finding myself falling against the fence to support my weight. We have walked for two straight hours while trying to find something Trevor would allow me to do.

"Okay. Let's go to the hotel room." He suggests.

"As flattered as I am at the invitation, I'd rather ride the roller coaster. Better yet, the haunted ride. Or the water log ride. Or the merry-go-round. Please."

"The merry-go-round?" Scoffs Trevor.

"Yes. Is that a problem?" I narrow my eyes at him. So far, there was a problem about everything. Nothing was up to scale to Trevor Benson's needs.

"The annoying music gives me a headache." Trevor sighs, and he leans against the fence beside me, both of us discreetly exhausted from our adventures today. From the painful car ride to the breath-taking moment in the ocean, to Trevor jumping off the pier to chasing me down to giving me a heart attack, and to walking around this amusement park for hours with no purpose.

It was, like I said, exhausting. Thanks to Trevor.

"We haven't ridden hardly anything. Can't we just go on the roller coaster?" I plead, even though I was unsure if I would be able to walk that far.

Trevor rolls his eyes. "I have no desire to go on that roller coaster with you."

"That hurts." I narrow my eyes at him.

"I can tell you're really heartbroken."

"Yeah. I'm wounded. So now you have to make it up to me by letting me go on the roller coaster."

"I'm not going on the roller coaster, Ally."

"A kiss can make the pain go away, too. You choose."

"No."

"Come on, Trevor!"

"No."

"Is that your favorite word?"

"No."

I roll my eyes, and think. I want to ride the roller coaster. So I will.

"After we ride the roller coaster, we can go back to the room." I allow. Which isn't a lie. After we ride the roller coaster, we would go back to the hotel room.

Eventually.

"Fine. Let's go," Trevor gives me a hateful look, before walking towards the line. He was so ridiculous. Can't he just get over the kiss already? It's not worth getting so bent out of shape over. He stands in line, his tall frame leaning against the wall. He obviously has no interest in talking to me. What a drama queen. Or, well, king.

The line moves slowly, but surely. The annoying young couple behind me ditch the long line, leaving three boys my age behind. Trevor doesn't seem to notice with his arms crossed and his head low, obviously irritated as he waits. He was acting like this was just miserable. How could he be so cold when he was here, on this gorgeous beach with a gorgeous girl? You know, me? He was very lucky. I really hope he realizes that.
