Son of Death

The Beginning

right,I don't have much time there are more coming, so i'll explain everything up till now...

My name is Richard Mors. I am thirteen years old and I have a messed up life.My eye color is unique I have red irises and for some reason when I get angry or get adrenaline pumping I always see everything as a reddish tinge and i can see everyone's... well, I see their soul. I see what type of person they are and it scares me. I have one friend,Leo, he doesn't care I am weird, he just likes me for who I am. When I was born my mother died and my father well let's just say I never heard of him, but I know he's out there and know he cares, but I don't know where he is. I have lived alone my entire life fending for myself, always moving, never able to settle down. I had only one thing that I have had since I could remember it's a ring with a skull with a scythe around it's head and it's special I swear it's magic, but I'm just talking nonsense there's no such thing as magic but for some reason no matter what my ring always fits comfortably. Every time I touch it I always get angry and I see red and apparently my irises expand until my whole entire eye is the color of blood. I am usually a very controlled person but one time i lost control, it happened when a eight or nine years old was taking Leo's stuff. Well, I just blew, I got angry and I started seeing red then, I saw the dudes soul. Well, I was about sixty feet away one sec the next I had him in the air by his neck. well, I took my hand and I reached into the center of the soul, the heart, I grabbed his soul and pulled it out of him I took it and I wished it to burn in hell and well, it dissipated in a flash of black fire. that was when I was eight, I never lost control since then. One day me and Leo were walking down a road when the sky got kinda reddish orange with streaks of black inside of it, and it started raining fire for about five seconds, then there was a huge inhuman screech that lasted for about twenty seconds, black flames started springing up and then they solidified into giant hunks of obsidian about twenty feet high everywhere we looked there was panicking, we didn't know what to do. we started running towards a clear area completely void of all people, we got there just in time when people started trying to take our supplies so we fought and I know I'm pretty weak compared to Leo now he got buffer after that ... incident well anyways he was pulling pretty much all of the weight well that's when I saw the guy, I had a weird sensation that I knew him from somewhere but I couldn't place from where, he had brown hair like me, he had completely black eyes and he had a ring similar to mine and he made waved his hand in a circular motion when I saw a guy with a gun pop out of the ground right where he waved, he aimed at Leo I yelled at Leo "Watch out!" he turned and yelled back "what's to worry about-" when the man fired the grin disappeared from Leo's face as he fell to the ground he made our little salute two fingers to the heart. I instantly knew he was dead it was a feeling I had there was no bringing him back,I lost control again worse this time what happened I started yelled and the ground around me started cracking and a complete sphere of black fire consumed a half mile radius around me destroying all around me i could feel pain coming from all around but all I had eyes for was the man with the gun, he was first, the guy with black eyes was next. I walked I could feel him shooting me but all my energy was focused on what I was going to do to him, when i got about twenty feet away he started running he ran right into my dome and the started pounding on it I knew somehow that it was sound proof and I also knew everyone inside it was dead other than me and him. He was done for. He surprised me then he suddenly started to laugh! Then he started yelling as well next thing I know, I see a black creature about seven feet tall red eyes and horns the size of machetes, claws the size of screwdrivers and well teeth the sharpness of a shard of glass, he then turns to me and hisses " you want a fight then come get one". He then flew across the field to me I grabbed his neck mid flight and threw him against the ground, he groaned in pain I relented but then thought of what he did to Leo,so I grabbed his horns picked him up threw him back down and started punching him with all my power I started creating a hole with the amount of strength I was using I kept punching until we reached the bottom of the barrier when I grabbed him by his horns and threw him up to the top then I touched my ring let it's power wash over me I could see it's soul it's soul was blacker than anything I've ever seen, I grabbed its neck and grabbed it's soul, and a scythe appeared from my ring a dark voice said to me "reap his soul, or you'll never have your revenge" so I took the scythe and swung it and yelled "I now claim your soul for all eternity, for Leo!" his soul got kinda absorbed by the scythe I then got some of the things abilities from doing it I got enhanced senses. I then realized I've got to go bring the world Leo loved back to the way it was I realized I may be the world's only hope.
