Vera ran as fast as she could. Her legs burned furiously as she tried to catch up to Alex. She picked up other scents, a bit more musky than Alex's. She knew something was wrong, she could feel it. She had to find him. If she didn't then..........
No! She was going to find him. No matter what tried to stop her. She followed their tracks and scent as she closed in. When she got near the edge of the jungle she stopped. There was a large fence, with glowing lights on the posts that emited out a low humming noise. She scanned for an entrance and watched as five men carried something through the fence. It was Alex! She thought as she readied to attack.
Before she could, someone closed the gate, sealing the entrance. She would have to find another way in. She began her search around the building.

Alex's third person pov

The man carried Alex through the woods quickly. He didn't want to draw unwanted attention. It took them only five minutes to reach the gates to the camp. This camp was only just set up in the last week, and had not been found by the nearby raptors yet. Though it didn't seem like they would be a problem anymore.
A man was waiting for them at the gates. He recognised them and ran to the side of the fence and pushed a button. The lights on both sides of the fence shut off and he ran back to the fence just in time to open it, just before the first man ran straight into it. The men rushed through and into the camp as the man shut the fence, the light turning back on. The team of men rushed to the middle of the camp and stopped in front of a jeep. They tossed Alex into the trunk and got into it themselves as quickly as possible. They had just started a car when a man ran up to them and shouted "what do you think you're doing?"
The bearded man that had been carrying Alex, and was now in the driver's seat answered in a low voice "he's under too much anesthetic. We need to get him to the other base immediately! If not, he could die."
There was a long pause, and the man eventually waved for him to go.
He started the engine and drove to the middle of camp. There was a large entrance, big enough for a car, that lead to a poorly lit tunnel that led underground. There were momentary lapses of darkness in between lights.
Alex slowly opened his eyes. His head throbbed in pain. In fact, his head was the only thing he could feel, his face was numb and he couldn't move his arms or legs. He struggled to keep his vision from blurring as he tried to figure out were he was. They burst out of the tunnel and the light surrounded them. Alex's head exploded with pain as he was absorbed by the light. Black dots once more swam around in his vision.
The jeep came to a stop and the men rushed out. They grabbed him and he lost consciousness. He didn't know much of what happened after that except for the moments when he was able to force his eyes open and bring himself to his senses. First he saw men in white uniforms crowded around him. "What happened!" the oldest man asked.
"Sedative overdose." one of them answered. That's all he heard of the conversation before slipping back into darkness.
The second time he opened his eyes he was being pushed through a hallway. His eyes shot open as a sharp pain coarser though his chest.
"His heart just gave out!" the oldest doctor shouted to the one that was pushing the cart. "We need that stimulant now!"
She ran away as a new doctor took her place. The pain in Alex's chest was unbearable and he started to loose consciousness for the last time in his life. His eyes slowly started to close as a nurse ran up to the doctor and handed him a large syringe. The doctor squirted some of the liquids through the syringe to remove any air bubbles. The needle was ridiculously long, almost six inches, and was thick too, almost four times that of a normal shot. He held it above Alex's chest and thrust down. Alex's eyes shot open from the intense pain. The doctor emptied the syringe into his heart and pulled it out of his chest just as his chest pulsed. His heart began to beat, and Alex slipped into a deep sleep.

Alex slowly woke to two men arguing. "You can't possibly be serious! You have no right!" the doctor shouted. A second man answered him in a calm voice. "Well, as far as the world knows this child is deceased. Therefore this never happened, for all they know."
"It's inhuman, what you are planning on doing to him. Hammond would never have allowed it."
"Yes, but Hammond no longer owns this company, I do, and that means you do as I say. The experiment will tell us if our technology actually works, or if it need further development."
"This could kill the child! There is no reason to do this to him! We can continue our work on apes, but this child has done nothing to deserve the fate you are trying to force upon him."
"We can always continue our work with apes, but that will never tell us if it works on humans!" the second man was beginning to loose his temper.
Alex was frightened by the conversation. What did they mean by experiments? Or that the world thought he was dead? Alex tried to run but he was tied to a table, and He only succeeded in making alot of noise.
"He's awake! You need to give him the first dose." the second man said handing him a syringe and a bottle. The doctor took it and filled the syringe as he walked over to Alex. He looked Alex in the eyes and whispered "I'm sorry." before grabbing his wrist and sliding the needle into it. Alexs arm burst into fiery pain as the doctor injected the last of the syringe into his largest vien. He screamed as he felt the pain spread throughout his body, feeling as though everything had caught fire.
There was a scream at the end of the hallway and gunshots soon followed.
"Now! Finish it Now!" shouted the man. The doctor filled a second syringe, and this time, slid the needle into his neck. Just as the doctor had finished injecting the red liquid into his neck, causing another wave of pain through his body and causing all of his muscles to contract once it reached them, the door to the room burst open. Vera stood there for a long moment as she surveyed the room. Her eyes locked with Alex's and she looked over him to make sure he was ok. Blood dropped from her jaws as she stood there. The other man was the first to move as he ran for the gun in the far corner. Vera leaped forward and pinned him to the ground, sinking her teeth into His shoulder. He screamed out of pain as the doctor started to unstrap Alex from the table. Alex fell to The floor and Vera immediately stopped and ran to his side. She grabbed his shirt in her mouth and started to pull him out of the room, eying the doctor as she left.
