Chapter 6

~Tanya's POV~

Jim and I got to Alfie's and Caspar's and when we got there we noticed there was a new girl called Lydia. She seemed quite nice but a bit shy. She hung around Joe for a lot of the time, which was strange because I thought she would have hung around with Zoe as she was her best friend. Not too long after we got there, Louise arrived, then Jack and Finn. Once everyone was there, we decided to go out. We had a little meet up planned.

~Joe's POV~

"Joe, Alfie, Jack and Finn, you can come with me, then Marcus and the girls can go in his car".

As soon as Jim proposed this I glanced at Lydia, she didn't look too nervous, but I didn't like the thought of her in Marcus's car, he was such a flirt. I caught her eye and winked at her and she did the same to me. I got in Jim's car and sat in the middle, Jack and Finn on either side, Jim driving with Alfie next to him.

"So Joe, do you have a thing with Lydia?" said Alfie turning round. Jack and Finn were nudging me and raising their eyebrows. I could feel myself blushing

"He's blushing! It's official!" cried out Jack

"What made you think I had a thing with her?" I asked

"Oh come on, it's obvious, I mean first you barely leave each others sides, then we all saw that cheeky wink!" explained Alfie

"Yeah I saw that!" exclaimed Jim, the twins nodded their heads too.

"Really, oh god" I laughed shaking my head "I don't know, it's not official but yeah" I said shyly

"Aw Joe!" grinned Alfie "you really like this girl don't you" he cooed

"He's blushing again!" cried out Jack, Finn grabbed my cheeks like I was a little baby

"Aw little Joey's in lovee"

"Shut up!" I said pushing him away "I'm not in love with her I just like her okay?"

"Sure sure" chorused the boys

"Can we please talk about something else? Like for example Alfie and Zoe?" I said making Alfie groan.

"Yeah, seriously what's going on between you two?" asked Jim

"You always hang out together, and you were acting a bit lovey-dovey on New Years" said Finn

"Yeah what was that all about" questioned Jack

"Do you really want to know?..." asked Alfie hesitantly

"Well duh!" I said

"Me and Zoe... we um, w-well we-" started Alfie

"Spit it out!" exclaimed Jack interrupting him

"We kissed" said Alfie. I raised my eyebrows, and looked at Jack and Finn- their eyes had widened

"Oh my god" I said

"Right, anyways we're here guys" announced Jim, we were going to a park to meet up with a few subscribers. We parked and got out and saw already lots of people had arrived. It wasn't an official meet up, we just said that if some people wanted to come, then we were going to be at the park. I glanced at Lydia, she looked really nervous. I went over to her and put my arm around her waist, she looked up at me.

"This won't take too long don't worry" I said reassuring her "so how was the car journey, Marcus didn't try anything with you did he?" She laughed and then spoke

"Yeah, he did actually" she laughed "but don't worry, it was only harmless flirting, and I didn't do anything back" she winked. 'Harmless flirting'. Was it Marcus flirting, or both of them? I felt a pang of jealousy and annoyance, but brushed these feelings away.
