~Joe's POV~

I went in a different room so she couldn't hear me. I dialled Chris's number and waited for him to pick up.

"Hello Joe?" His gravely voice said.

"Hey mate, y'know for drinks later, I was wondering if I could bring a girl?"

"Yeah okay what's she like?" Chris asked.

"She's great, really funny" I replied

"Joee, is she your girl?" Chris cooed

"Yeah" I laughed feeling a bit embarrassed

"Aw Joe! Are you and her serious?"

"I'm not sure, I only asked her out yesterday, but we get on so well. She's Zo's best friend, she's living with us at the moment"

"Aw Joe I've never heard you so loved up" he said making me blush.

"Shut up"

"Is she fit?" He asked

"Yes, she's a proper fit bird, but my bird so back off" I laughed

"Nice one Joe, anyway usual place usual time" chris said

"Yeah mate, see you then" I said putting my phone away. I walked back in to the kitchen and nodded to Lydia.

"Yeah it's alright" I said. She nodded, she seemed slightly sad, but she was probably home sick or something. We woke the others and had breakfast. That day we just watched tv and chatted a bit, while Alfie and Zoe went off to film their video. 5 o'clock came and we piled into Marcus's car as he took us too the station, we waved goodbye and got on the train. Soon enough we were back at home.

"Zoe, me and Lydia are going for drinks with my mates at 9 tonight" told Zoe. We were sat at the kitchen table eating pasta that Zoe and Lydia had made.

"Cool, which mates?" Asked Zoe

"Chris, and probably the usual lot" I explained. Once we finished dinner, the girls went up stairs and I started to put things in the dishwasher.

~Zoe's POV~

"What did you need to talk to me about Binks?" I asked her. We were sitting on my bed, and Lydia had been looking a bit down since we got home.

"It's nothing really, it's not important" she said, though by the tone of her voice I could tell it was something that was bugging her.

"Really? Spill the beans Binky" I urged her

"It's just that I overheard Joe talking to his mate on the phone and I didn't like the way he talked about me" she sighed. Oh god what had Joe done.

"What? What did he say?"

"I don't know, he started off talking about me really sweetly but then we was like 'oh she's a proper fit bird but my bird' and stuff" she said imitating Joe. I knew she didn't like it when boys referred to girls as birds, but I mean who does.

"Oh Lyd, it's just his way of talking to his mates, he can't really say how beautiful you are and how special you are to him to his mates, because they'd probably think he was a wuss and stuff for being so lovey dovey" I explained. Her eyes lit up.

"He thinks I'm beautiful, and I'm special to him?"

"Yes Lyd, obviously." I nodded "I see the way he looks at you, and how protective he is over you and trust me he's never been like that with a girl before".
