Chapter 3

Aria's POV:

I look at Emily, she's giving me one of those "What the hell do you think your doing" looks and her arms are crossed. "I wanted to tell you" I say apologetic. She gives me a death glare, "Look" she says, "I know you are still upset about Ezra and if you are trying to use Toby to...." I cut her off "Emily!" "What?!" she explains. I sigh "I didn't plan on this happening, believe me I'm not using Toby and I don't want to hurt Spencer. That's why we haven't told anyone yet." I see Emily's eyes widen "Yet!? Aria you are still going to see him?!" she says disgusted. "I care about him Emily, a lot." Emily's facial expressions change "Aria..." she says nervously, "Do you... Do you love him?" I bite my bottom lip and nod slightly. "I have extremely deep feelings for him" I say in a low voice. I look up to see that Emily's arms aren't angrily folded anymore. I turn and walk into my living room, Emily follows me and I sit on the couch. Emily breaks the minute of silence "So, I'm not completely comfortable with this relationship yet, but if he makes you happy..." I look and smile at her. "He does make me happy Em. I just don't know what to tell Spencer" I say nervous. Emily rests her hand on my shoulder "I don't know how Hanna will react, but I'm here for you" she says sweetly. "Hanna doesn't really need anything else to deal with right now" I explain "I mean, just last month her, Mona, Spencer, you and me found her mom dead in Wilden's trunk."
