Chapter 4

Aria's POV:

Emily and I sigh simultaneously. Her phone chimes we both look at each other and she pulls out her phone. "It's Spencer" she says, "What did she say?" I ask curiously. "She wants us all to go over her house tonight" Emily responds. I see her toss her phone on the coffee table in front of us, she then gives me a terrified look. "Does A know about you and Toby?" she asks. I shake my head "No. Not that I know of." "You know you won't be able to keep this up Aria. A will eventually find out." My heart begins to race, knowing what A can do to Toby, me, Spencer, Emily, our friendship. "You have to tell Spencer before A tells her" she continues. I take a deep breath "You're right. Not only does A tell our secrets but A does it in a harsh and hurtful way". "Spencer hasn't told anyone yet..." I see Emily look up at me as I continue "Her and Toby have been in huge argument for the past two weeks, he thinks they are over. Maybe I'll tell Spencer that we have only been seeing each other for the past week or two" Emily gives me a cautious look, "Then you better tell her soon. I'll play along like I don't know anything when you tell her okay?" I nod. A few seconds on silence pass when all of a sudden my phone vibrates. I take it out of my pocket and see I've received a new text message. I press read. My body turns to stone, I can't move, and feel like time just stopped. "Aria" Emily says worried 'What's wrong?"....
