Registration

We get out of the vehicle in Central section and we get on this mini train thingy that goes into a tunnel leading to the Office section.

When we got there I saw about ten other families in a line. I was still trying to calm down so we got in line and waited for 30 minutes.

I was thinking about the bad service they have here, and I'm still so confused about what's happening. I felt like vomiting but then I saw this girl in front of me and she said hi. I was surprised was she talking to me? Then I said hi back.

Then she said,
"My name is Emma. What's yours?"

"My what?" I asked very confused.

"Your name" she said.

"Ohhh, my name". For a second I forgot my name because I still had my mind on the fact that we were in an underground city.

"My name is Ethan". I said finally.

"Cool. Do you know why we're here?" She asked. I was bewildered at the fact that she didn't know why we were here.

"I don't know." I said.

"I was attacked by someone and the next thing you know, we were going to Colorado." She said while my jaw dropped.

"That happened to me too!!" I said very loudly, almost screaming at her face. "Did anything weird happen?" I asked her.

"Yes. Somehow I burned the guy's hand" She whispered. I didn't know what to think anymore. This was all planned!

"A gust of air came out of my hand and pushed the guy making him hit his head" I whispered back.

"That's so weird." She said. "Maybe that's why we're here".

"Maybe." I responded .

So far, I knew two things. First, it seems that I am not the only person with powers in this world, it looks like this place is full of them. Second, is not just air that people can control, it seem like its heat too or fire. This is starting to be very weird. I'm already nervous enough for more pressure to be put on me.

A lady at the front called Emma and her family. They talked for about 10 minutes and gave her some papers and a key. Then we got called.

"The Johnson family."

We walked to the front and the lady started asking us questions and giving us information about where we were going.

"Are you Ethan Johnson?"

"Yes"

She started opening a document in her hands.

"17 year old Ethan Johnson. Goes to Madison High In Seattle, Washington. Lives with Peter Johnson and Nora Johnson." She says.

"Yes, that's us" my dad said. I was wondering how she knew all this stuff. Again, kind of creepy.

"Ahhhhh." She said. "An airbender. We haven't had one of those in a while."

I was very confused as to what she was talking about. What's an Airbender, is that what they call people that can control air? Well, the lady gave us a folder with some papers in it and a key.

But I couldn't contain myself and I just went and said, "Wait, hold up, hold up. No one has explain what's going on here. What's an Airbender?"

"An Airbender is someone who controls the air" the lady said, "Look kid, I don't have time to explain right now, there is a huge line behind you. Your parents will explain that later to you".

She then said, "Tomorrow, you will take the train to the Element sections. Read the paper so you know what to do. That key is for your house.

Meanwhile, your parents must come here tomorrow so we can talk about the rules and other important stuff. Understand?"

"Yes." I said. This lady is very rude, she probably hates her job. And by the wrinkles on her face, it seems like she's been working her for a long time. Again, kind of creepy.

So we headed to the housing section with an officer who was guiding us. I saw Emma as she was just entering her house that was right next to ours.

I waved at her and she waved back while smiling. When we entered the house, there was already furniture. There was a living room, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and three bedrooms.

I was wondering why we had three bedrooms since there was only three of us and mom and dad slept together.

Maybe mom is having a baby! Maybe not. Let's hope it's just an extra. This had been the most weird, unexpected, frustrating, annoying day I have ever had, I just hope it gets better.
