Surprise

"How did you do that?" Dylan asked me.

"You do know that I don't know what you are talking about, right?" I told him.

"So, you're telling me that you did something without knowing?" Responded Dyland.

"Yes." I replied. "Now, can you tell me what happened?" I hated the fact that some people just don't tell you stuff right away. I'm a very impatient guy and it just infuriates me when I have to wait for someone to tell me someting.

"After you hit your head," explained Dylan, "your eyes started to glow. A bluish glow. Then you stood up and started to Earthbend."

"Wait a second. Are you saying that I can control both Air and Earth?" I asked.

"Yes. That's what we saw." Said one of the students.

"That's awesome." I said feeling very excited. I was the most powerful kid in this facility! People will respect me and fear me! No more bullying or conflicts! I was so excited. I felt the power in my hands!
I just realized that I'm turning into a selfish superhero, all this power is already going over my head! But it was still awesome.

"Are there any other student like me?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Not that we know of." Said Mr. Fredly.
"Where's Victor?" I asked.

"You sent him to the hospital." Dylan said smugly. I think he liked that I sent Victor to the hospital. He had that cute smile of his.

"Yeah. You stomped on the ground and a huge rock came up. See." One of the students said pointing at the broken gym floor and giant pieces of rocks coming out of the ground.

"After the rock came up, you kicked it towards Victor. He dodged it but then you quickly made a rock come from the ground behind Victor and hit him on the back with it, sending him flying." Another student said.

"You then fell to the ground and I started running towards you while Mr. Fredly called the hospital for Victor. After a couple of minutes, you woke up." Dylan said. Funny how it seems like I'm not getting punish for almost killing victor. Maybe they feared and respected me already.

"Ethan. We need to speak with the commander about this. For now, you would have to finish your Air trainings earlier so you can stay with the class and start with Earth training." Mr. Fredly said.

"You mean that four years of Air training have to be finished in two years or less?" I asked very nervously. I could already feel the stress crawling towards me.

"Yes Ethan " said Mr. Fredly.
I felt overwhelmed again just like when I first arrived.

"Is gonna be okay Ethan. I can help you" said Dylan.
"Thanks" I said to him while staring into his eyes.
