The weekend. The three best days of the week. Friday for fun, saturday for some more fun and sunday for so much more fun then complaining that you have too much homework and that tomorrow is monday.
I have a question though. Why two days of break but five days for school. Whoever made this rule wasn't very good at math because that was a stupid and unfair idea.
Anyways, today was Saturday, I was supposed to meet with Emma and Dylan today at the train station but they were taking too damn long.
I decided to call them but they wouldn't pick the phone up. We were supposed to go to the surface and go to the city. It's been so long since I've been up there. Like five months I think. The last time we went up, officer Parlic had to go with us.All I need to tell you is that it didn't end well and we almost revealed ourselves to the public. However, they let us go by this time ourselves because we were old enough to be responsible. Last time it wasn't our fault, it was officer Parlic who just was too strict and we kind of got mad at him.
I felt someone was approaching me from behind me and then Nick's jumps out scaring me such much that I almost crapped my pants.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him. Of course Emma didn't invite him, did she?"Emma told me to come. She said we were going to Denver" Nick responded. She invited him and didn't tell me? I mean, is not like I didn't like Nick but she should have told me. Now it's going to be all awkward and stuff.
"We were supposed to go to Denver but she hasn't shown up, and neither has Dylan" I said.
"Dylan was supposed to come?" He asked with a confused face. I mean, why would he ask that? Dylan is our friend and he always comes with us to places.
"Yes, she didn't tell you?" I paused, "wait a second. That little monster. She set us up!" I screamed.
"She did?" Nick responded. He was a little slow but I didn't mind.
"Yes she did. Why else would she tell you and me to come and then not show up?" I explained. Emma is going to be in such a big trouble. But thinking about it, it wasn't that bad, I actually wanted to spend a little more time with Nick.
"Maybe she forgot and there was an accident?" said Nick trying to come up with an explanation as to why Emma and Dylan were late.
"Whatever, I guess you and I would have to go by ourselves" I said very awkwardly. Yes, the other option could have been to go home but I didn't want that, I wanted to be with Nick.
"Okay, I guess" Nick responded. He seemed not to care but I could tell that he was happy.

We got on the blue long bus that goes to Denver every afternoon.
I sat by the window and Nick sat next to me. It was so awkward. And the silence at firat didnt help. My ex boyfriend and I are going to the city to hang out and do stuff. That's the most weird sentence in this book. Nick tried to make the moment less awkward but it ended up being too weird."Sooo, Dylan likes you?" he said very slowly. What was he trying to say by that? Yes Dylan likes me and I am sure that he knows that. Maybe he's trying to figure out if I like Dylan back.
"I guess so. I didn't have a clue" I told him. Dylan actually liked me all this time and I was clueless about it. I'm so stupid, Emma keeps telling me that it was obvious but I can't see how.
"Really, because it was way too obvious" Nick responded.
"Obvious?" I asked him.
"Yes. He always cared about you and did stuff that only a person with a crush would do"
"Can you give me an example of how it was obvious?" I was trying to figure out how obvious it was since everyone is now telling me this.
