14th of DECEMBER 2014, FRIDAY, 5:38 A.M., PHILIPPINES

T'was a cold foggy morning, when the Domingo family was awakened by a dreadful news. Karl, the only child of Macy and Herbert, arouse immediately, and screamed after what his mom told him.

"What?! Are you sure mom?" Opened his eyes widely.

"I'm very sure of it, honey. Her mother called me 'round 5:30 A.M., t'was 10 P.M. in their place. I was about to wake you up at that time, but I didnt want to disturb your moment—I mean your deep sleep. So, I've decided to tell you when you're awake," his mom explained.

Stunned, preventing his tears from falling down, Karl, couldn't believe what he heard. "Did they explain what was the reason, mom?" Karl finally asked.

"Yes! I mean, not the reason, but what happened in her room after her parents found out," his mother muttered.

"Tell me mom," Karl inquired.

"Okay, here... at 6:30 P.M., she was in her room. Her parents thought that she was asleep. Suddenly, they heard her shouting your name, twice. Without knowing whats happening in her room, they thought that both of you was calling each other. I mean do both of you...?"

Raising his one eyebrow, Karl said, "I was at my room at that time, but we weren't calling each other. You know mom, I don't have roaming calls. And besides, we don't call each other shouting our names."

"Ahh, just asking honey. Anyway, after a few minutes, silence filled her room. Unexpectedly, around 9 P.M., a sound of a falling object frightened them. They searched for where it was, and found that it was in her room. So, they rushed into her room, bumped the door, and saw her laid down on the floor."

"Laid down? Why?" He grinned his teeth."Please...go on,"

I shouldn't tell you about this son, his mom thought. "So, they immediately went beside her. They tried to wake her up, but she couldn't. They said her heartbeat was normal, and normally breathing. It's just that when they checked her eyes, it wasn't moving."

"Not moving? You mean?" Lord! Please don't! Karl thought.

"Yes, she's in comma right now. I—I shouldnt have told you about this, honey. I'm sorry, I'm sorry," she moved closer to his son, hugged him tightly, and repeated again what she said, "I'm sorry."

Karl, feeling his mom's hug, can't hold his tears anymore. Pain, like you've been carrying tons of bristly rock at your back; like you've been hit by a rushing car; fell from a hundred and thousand feet tall building; like your wound was poured out of alcohol.

Oh God! please...
