19th of DECEMBER 2010, FRIDAY, 5:38 P.M., PHILIPPINES

"Mom? What do I look?" Karl asked. He was preparing for their Christmas party at their school. He wore his formal suit-black Americana, white inner polo, red ribbon tie on his neck, black slacks, and his shiny Mexican leather shoes.

Looking at her steadily, his mom said to him, "H-m-m-m...you always good in my eyes, honey."

"Honestly mom? How do I look?"

"I'm honest, you're good...Perfect for Nicole!" she teased.

"Mom! You're teasing me...and besides, she already had her date," Karl muttered.

"Oh, how poor...Don't worry about that stuff, son. I mean, it's just a date, nothing else is more than that... You know, I have a suggestion," she proposed.

"And what is it? Mom?" he requested, looking seriously to his mom.

"You two are cute. You know, perfect for each other! So, maybe you should make a move son, before someone else steal your precious jewel."

He was stunned, speechless to what his mother told to him. Mom's right, maybe I should, before it's too late.

Looking at her son, she continued, "I mean, you know, you're at the right age, and I want you to be happy. Teenage life is one of the most memorable days that you could have. You should grab one. I know there's a lot of opportunities, but how can it be called like that if you don't take one of it. Don't lose her, make a move son, and tell her that you love her."

"How did you kno-"

"I'm your mom. That's why I know it all," she boasted.

"Yeah, you're right. By the way, thanks mom! Just, give me time," he pleaded,

"Okay, but always remember, time is running," she retorted.

Josh, I know he told you mom. I shouldn't have told him, he thought.
