Karl, for almost 20 days, decided to went there, together with Josh. His things were already packed in his old black Habagat backpack. Felt that excitement, but mixed with what he felt—pain. But, I should be brave, I know, she's waitin' for me...Just be brave Karl, he thought.
After one hour, Josh arrived at Karl's house, together with his parents. He then got out of their car, went inside the house, saw Karl's mom and greeted her. Karl, sitting at the living room, was silent. Thinking those memories they had since high school. Josh came towards him, planned to cheer him up. He then sat beside him.
"It's been almost 20 days I haven't saw your smile again. Nah, you should bro...I mean, it's for the good, not only me, but also to her. You know, she can hear us."
"Yeah, I know, c'mon, don't mind me more, mind her most," he insisted.
"Yeah, you're right, we should," Josh said.
They headed outside the house. Carrying a small box, Karl felt heavy every time he stepped his foot—the more he stepped, the more it became heavier. Josh, looking at his best friend, felt pity again on him. I wish I could help him, Josh thought. They rode the van, and headed immediately to the airport.
