5th of DECEMBER 2010, FRIDAY, 6:00 A.M., PHILIPPINES

The 2 months of school days are gone, and they finally stepped December—it's time for Christmas.

It was a rainy day. Karl, Jack, and Nicole was walking at the road, carrying their colorful umbrellas, heading to school. Karl and Nicole, after 2 months, became closer because of Josh.

Every weekend, they go out, both the three of them. Go to malls, diner, or even had a road trips. Because of these, Karl took the opportunity to have a closer relationship to Nicole, I mean just friends .He couldn't told her about what he felt for her. However, he decided not to tell yet about what he had inside. He's contented about what their state now.

Anyways, the three, still carrying what they had, hastened their feet, so that they could caught up the next bus. Meanwhile, they'd stop at the waiting shed—they were wet, soaked with water from rain. While they were setting themselves, a man with an eye patch on his left eye, came towards them.

"Waitin' for him? I mean...you know, the bus?" asked the man.

The three of them got scared of what this old guy wearing. He was wearing an old black pants, where the left leg of it has many slit. His t-shirt was white, splashed with dirty mud, caused by a truck. Josh, a man who had pity on those person like him, answered him in a soft voice,

"Yes, we were waitin'. Have you seen it?" Josh asked.

"Yeah, he already passed by here, 5 minutes before the three of you arrived,"

"What?!...Oh, sorry," Josh accidentally yelled the old man. He then faced the Karl and Nicole, and drew a sad face on his face, "Game Over," he muttered.

"I'm sorry, but I had a place where you could wait another bus," the old man requested.

After hearing what the old man requested, they then faced the old man, changed their sad faces into hope. "It would be pleased to hear," Josh pleaded.

The old man then directed them to where was that place. The three of them rushed immediately after they the old man told them.

After a few minutes, they arrived. The place was so creepy. Waiting shed was full of rust, dirty ceiling and floor, the buildings behind it was old—like it wasn't been renovated for many years. However, the good thing they found out was there were people, students like them, waited. They then settled, and waited for the bus.

Josh, saw Karl thinking of something, came closer to him. "Karl, maybe it's time to tell her about what you had—I mean, that you have feelings for her," He whispered.

Karl was stunned by what Josh whispered to him. "No! I won't, I'm afraid bro."

"Afraid? Why? Now that you two are closer than before, you won't tell her? C'mon men, there's a lot of guy, like you, dreamt to have her. And you... don't be such a coward meeyn," Josh retorted.

Karl, because of what Josh said to him, felt pity on himself. I wish I have that courage Josh, I'm sorry.

Nicole, unaware what the two were talking, came towards them. "What's the talking all about?" she asked.

"U-h-m, nothing couz! Just, boy stuff, you know," Josh lied. Turned his face to Karl, "Decide for it, Karl," he whispered.

In the meantime, the bus arrived at the waiting shed, and they immediately rode.
