Wake Me Up

Chapter 7

5th of January 2014, FRIDAY, 2:00 P.M., PHILIPPINES

♫ I remember every sunset. I remember every word you said. We will never gonna say goodbye, singing la-da-da-da-da...♫

Heart beats slowing, eyes were crying, mind's still thinking, while listening to the song they always played-feeling every words in the song. Please be strong...I'll be there soon, Karl thought, while looking through the window of the plane. Beside him was Josh, and his mom. At the back were his relatives-all were asleep.

Meanwhile, Karl, still with his earphones plugged in his ears, fell asleep, while Josh, woke up. He was dreaming something bad, which woke him up. He stretched out his hands widely, looked at his mom, and finally to Karl. "Finally! You should sleep, Karl," Josh whispered, transferring his blanket to his best friend.

About one hour later, Josh, playing with his PS Vita, noticed Karl-he was murmuring. He didn't understand some of it, but there were words that Karl always repeated-"Nicole", "please", and "stop". However, Josh only thought that Karl was only dreaming, so waking up him might only disturbed Karl's deep slumber.
