"What movie?" I asked.
Blake just smirked.
Does he ever smile?
"A scary one," he replied.
"Okay," I said casually.
He seemed surprised. He probably thought I would be like, oh no a scary movie, noo, but I was really fine with it. I just laugh at them, like I said, I laugh at everything.
He made some popcorn, placed in Saw and we sat down. I started cracking up! To say I was embarrassed was an understatement. I couldn't stop laughing, and we've been over my laugh. I even snorted a couple of times. Blake soon began to laugh. Not at the movie, but because of my laugh. His laugh was nothing like mine. His was so soft and buttery, I can see why he was a big hit with the girls.
We eventually settled down and turned the TV off.
"You know, I actually had a lot of fun tonight," I said hoping I didn't sound stupid.
"Of course you did, you were with me," Blake said cockily.
"Shut up," I said as I slapped him. He faked hurt and said
"Hey, you're abusing me!"
I just laughed.
Rebecca came home a little later and told me my mom was home.
"That's my cue," I said.
"Thank you dear for watching Ash tonight."
"Anytime," I replied.
"By Rebecca, by Blake."
Rebecca just smiled and Blake winked which made me roll my eyes.
As I walked across their yard to mine, I thought about how Blake was there.
He was the same age as me, why couldn't he take car of- oh my gosh, if my mom did this in attempt to "set me up", I was gonna kill her!
I walked into my house and straight over to my mom who was seated on the couch.
"Why did you make me babysit, mom? Blake was totally capable!" I said harshly.
I didn't mean it to come out that way, I just didn't want my mother meddling with my love life.
"Well you've never had a boyfriend Sheila, so I thought that maybe you and Blake would hit it off."
Oh my gosh.
"Mom, I love you, but please next time, don't do that okay?"
"Okay." I was kind of surprised she let me talk to her that way.
"Sheila, you should probably go to bed. You need to start getting back into the school schedule."
Ugh. I have a hard time falling asleep because of my anxiety. Oh well, nothing I can do about it, complaining doesn't help. I was about to ask about Bri when she came rushing in through the door, a smile evident in her face.
I gave her the look that said
"you'd better tell me what's going on or else I'll find out." She nodded and we headed upstairs.
"Enlighten me," I said.
"Okay, but only if you promise to tell me how your night went at Mr.Hotties house."
I agreed and told her not to call him that because it was weird and she began to tell me how she was out on a date with some guy from the football team. He saw her that day at tryouts and got her number from someone and then asked her out. She said she had a great time and that they even kissed. Nothing major, just a goodbye kiss.
I was happy for her but slightly disappointed because I've always wanted a cute relationship.
I told her about my night and she started laughing at the thought of all those jocks in make up. I took that as the opportunity to show her the picture which made her laugh super hard. She gave me their Instagrams and I posted the picture tagging them in it.
She was tired and I had to shower, so she went to her room as I gathered my clothing and towels.
I made my way to the bathroom and stripped of my clothing. I turned the hot water in and stepped into the wonderful waterfall of bliss.
I let the water wash away all the dirt and grime of the day and washed my hair and body.
Once I was done I got dressed in the bathroom because I had left my curtains open in my room. I finished dressing and stepped into my room wearing a sports bra and sweatpants.
I heard a wolf whistle and turned my head in the direction it came from. There was Blake in all his Greek God glory, staring at me.
"Perv," I yelled.
I then heard chuckling and realized that Tj, Jt, and Aiden were back.
"Gosh guys, all I want to do is relax in my comfy clothes and now y'all are making me put on a sweatshirt brats!" I said in annoyance.
They just chuckled and Aiden said "Don't let us stop you, you can even take them o-" he was stopped by a hand that belonged to an annoyed looking Tj. "Are y'all just a bunch of pervs?" I questioned, my accent was really strong when I said this and it had the boys laughing.
Ugh! Stupid south!
"Hey didn't you try out for cheer?" Jt asked.
"Umm yeah I did, why?"
"Just wond-" he was cut off by yet another remark from Aiden.
"So that means you'll be cheering for me?" he asked smirking.
"Yeah, I'll be cheering and hoping that you catch the ball with your face," I said with s fake smile.
The boys laughed and I just ignored them and mumbled a goodnight along with a yawn.
I was beat.
I Closed my curtains and laid down.
I started to think deep thoughts that started to make me scared and so my heart beat picked up.
See this is what I hate about anxiety. It takes me forever to fall asleep.
After about an hour of tossing and tinting I finally fell asleep.
