Beep! Beep! Beep!
Ugh! Stupid alarm!
I clicked the dismiss button on my phone as I sat up in bed. I stretched and yawned and then got up to use the bathroom.
I went downstairs to eat and was greeted by a grumpy Bri and some cereal.
Like I said, we're not morning people.
We finished up our breakfast and then went back upstairs to get ready.
I brushed my teeth and then changed out of my pajamas and replaced them with my cheer uniform.
It was so cute and it fit me just right!
Okay, now I'm starting to get a little excited.
I brushed my rats nest that I call hair and sprayed the heat protectant on it. Once it was dry, I began to straighten my hair. Thank you God for whoever invented this thing! Without it, I would look like a freaking cave-woman, literally.
My hair was now straight and I began to apply mascara. That and light lipgloss is all I wear. I don't like to wear much makeup, it's like wearing a mask, and murderers wear masks.
I'm not a murderer!
I was now ready and I grabbed my backpack as well as my phone and car keys and walked to Bri's room.
I was in the process of knocking when the door swung open and my fist collided with a face. Bri's face!
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" I said while hugging her.
She just laughed and teased me.
"Great, first day of school and I'm gonna have a black eye!"
We both laughed.
Briaunna had also straightened her hair and put on light make up. A little more than me, but it still looked natural and pretty.
"You ready?" I asked
"As ever!" she replied giddily.
My mom was already at work so I didn't have to say goodbye to her.
We would've walked to school, but we didn't want to on the first day, so we took the car.
We reached the school in about 2 minutes and found a parking space.
We were there early, you know for cheer, and I spotted her.
You know what? I thought to myself.
I'm gonna go up to her and try to be nice.
I walked up to Jessica and said very sweetly "Hey, I think we got off on the wrong foot, I'm sorry if I upset you." Her reply made my blood boil.
"Save it, hick."
I didn't even say anything. I knew what I wanted to say but God wouldn't be very pleased with me, so I just kept my mouth shut.
"Come on Sheila," Bri said to me.
I inhaled sharply and blew out a long breath as I walked away.
Reece came running up to us greeting us with a friendly hug and smile.
She always so cheerful.
"Don't worry about her, you're way better," Reece said to me, and Briaunna agreed.
"Thanks," I said, still a bit angry.
"Anyways," Bri said "The school doors open in like thirty seconds so people should be getting here any second."
"Okay girls just stand by the door and greet everyone with a smile," the coach ordered.
Everyone stood up and set there bags in a pile as they walked over towards the school entrance.
Students were coming now by the dozens, and we each greeted them the same way.
With a smile.
I saw Zach and some of his friends approach and Slutzilla took this as the time to throw herself at him, and him, being the gross man-dog he is, gladly took it. They started playing tonsil tennis and the rest of us tried not to gag.
We failed.
Zach finally left but not before winking at me. Seriously? You just devoured each other's faces and then you wink at me? Idiot.
About five minutes later Blake, Tj, Jt, and Aiden all came up to the door. Once again Slutzilla threw herself at Blake, but he didn't accept. He just shrugged her off and winked at me as he passed saying "Hey, babe."
This caused Bri and Reece to look at me questioningly and I just ignored there looks.
He is so annoying!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All the cheerleaders were excused from being tardy to class because it took us longer to get our schedules and books and stuff.
Bri, Reece, and I had purposely changed our schedules to match so we had almost every single class together.
1) Spanish
2) Advanced English
3) Advanced Science
4) History
C Lunch
5) Math
6) Gym
7) Drama
8) Art
This was my schedule. We all had the same electives and stuff, just different teachers for some subjects.
We all had 1st together, so we started walking in the direction of the class.
I hate being late.
Everyone looks at you and you just feel awkward. Oh well, at least I didn't have to walk in there alone.
The classroom door was closed, so we knocked on the door and the teacher came to open it for us. Like I had said, everyone's eyes were one us. Even him.
Yep you guessed it, Blake.
At least I had my friends in here with me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Each teacher had said pretty much the same thing, they gave us there rules and the gist of what we'd be doing, etc, etc.
It was now lunch time so Bri Reece and I met up in the cafeteria.
Our 4th period history teachers were different.
Bri and Reece had the same one, but mine was different. That was the one class I had all the boys in. Really? Come on now.
Reece and Bri were dating Tj and Jt come to find out.
(That guy that Bri had seen had just left her in the dust, I hate guys I swear.)
So naturally they sat with us, and you know who else did? Blake.
"Hey babe," Tj and Jt said in unison thus making the girls giggle and me gag at their flirty attitudes. The girls just gave me playful glares as the boys took there seats.
Blake sat next to me and Reece and Bri sat next to their boys.
"You guys look good in your outfits," Blake said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Especially you," he whispered huskily in my ear. His hit breath making me involuntarily shiver.
Why did he have that affect on me?
He chuckled as I squirmed.
The nerve of that boy!
Bri and Reece were engaged in their own conversations with their boys and Blake turned to me and said "So when do you want to start on that project?"
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that didn't I?
Well you see in English they decided to give us a project on the first day. They assigned us partners and our job was to interview each other so that way we'd be more comfortable in class.
The teacher said my name and Blake's which made me receive glares from some girls and Blake received glares from some guys.
"Hello?" Blake asked waving a hand in front of my face.
"Huh? Sorry, what?" I asked sounding like an idiot.
"I asked when you wanted to start on the project." Blake repeated himself.
"Oh, yeah, um, I guess today. The sooner we get it done the better."
"Why? Don't you want to spend alone time with me?" Blake asked smirking.
"Please. NO ONE wants to spend alone time with you." I said whilst rolling my eyes.
"Hey that hurt," he sniffed "Right here," he said pointing to his heart feigning hurt.
"Does this hurt?" I asked him
"Does what hur- agh!! Yeah that hurts!" he yelled causing our friends to look at us. I had pinched his arm with my nails. Ha idiot.
"Thought so," I said smiling innocently. That's when the dismissal bell rang.
"Well, see you later, partner," Blake said mocking my accent. He sounded so cute doing th- shut up brain!
"Yeah, yeah call me what you want as long as it's not-"
"Babe," he finished for me smirking.
"Do you ever smile?" I asked truly wondering.
"I save it for special occasions," he said. I laughed at that.
Onto math, my most favorite class!
That was sarcasm- my favorite language.
