Findind Out The Hard Way: Chapter Fifteen:

Cecilia's P.O.V.

Something about the building worried me. Something just seemed to be wrong with it, as if it drained everything that had energy.

Adrian and Dominican hadn't returned yet, and I worried that Elizabeth would try to do somethine and get hurt.

"Don't worry, Cecilia! They'll all be fine. I'm sure it's nothing to worry you about." Trent said in a hushed voice.

"How can you be so sure? They haven't even came back out of the building yet, and it's almost daylight." I insisted.

"If it makes you feel better, I can go and see what's going on?" Toni offered.

"No. I'll go!" I said firmly as I stood up, and began to walk away from them.

"Cecilia, be careful!" I heard Trent whisper.

I nodded my head slightly to show him that I had heard, and that I would be careful.

I began to run, knowing that I would get to the building faster.

Trees flew by me in a blur, and I couldn't make out any sounds but my footfalls.

As I closed in on the fortress I got the feeling that I was being watched, but I couldn't care less. I wouldn't mind being captured, as long as I could get my friends out of there, along with my brother.

Though I had noticed that Dominican had been very worried about Elizabeth when he had found out about her being taken. Maybe that was a bright side to this situation?

I found a crack in the wall that was just big enough for me to squeeze through, and I scooted along the wall once I was in.

The building before me looked so much like a castle to me. Towers in the four corners with windows all around them. Walls so high that you could look up and it looked as if it never ended. They too had windows along them, but they were tall, and only big enough to stick a weapon through.

I looked around me to get a better scope on things, and then ran towards the door.

It wasn't hard for me to break the lock on it, and when no alarms sounded, I scooted inside, and began to make my way through the long hallway that was in front of me.

I could smell Elizabeth, and I followed her scent all the way down to the lowest level of the building.

I could make out Dominican and Adrian's figure's as they argued and I also could barely make out the shape of the cells.

"Stop it!" I commanded, making them jump.

"You shouldn't be here, Ceclia! We left you where it was safe." Dominican said quickly.

"Yes, but it was taking you so long that I figured I'd come and find out what was going on!" I snapped.

"He started it!" Dominican snarled, "Said I couldn't break the bars."

"You can't! You don't have my strength, werewolf!" Adrian snarled.

"Stop." I heard a small voice say. Obviously Dominican and Adrian didn't hear the voice and kept arguing.
