Chapter 7

It has been almost 3 months, since I have been in school. I am finally going back, I have been released by the doctors to get back on my normal routine. I'm actually excited to go back, because it is about time for soccer training camp to start. I have been working my but off since I was about 10 years old at soccer I love it. This is the year we are going to win states. I have about 3 major colleges looking at me UNC, UVA, and CAL. It's getting close to time and I can't wait, all I want is to put that state championship ring on and hold that trophy in the air.

Alex came and picked me up for school I walked out to her car and she gave me a kiss. I got in the car and we started driving to school.

"Hey babe are you going to play soccer?" I questioned.

"Yeah I think so, where I use to go I played and we weren't terrible but we weren't good either." She responded.

"Well we will have to go play together sometime." I said as I gave her a small kiss.

We held hands over the center console on the way to school. We were playing the stereo as loud as it would go singing at the top of our lungs. That what I like about Alex I can be myself and she doesn't care, but there is some stuff that she doesn't know about me yet and every time I look at her I want to tell her but I can't loss her. It took me 6 years to except it and I can't just tell someone I care so much for about it and risk losing her. It's just hard.

"What's wrong Tobin," she ask concerned.

"Nothing! I'm just thinking." I say nervously.

"What you think about baby?" She questioned.

"I...a....was think about how beautiful you are." I tell her saving myself from having to explain everything.

We get to school and walk to our lockers together and I grab my book and tell her will see her later that I wanted to go see Ashlyn and Hope before class. I was walking to see them and Kelley O'Hara comes up behind me and pushes me up against a wall.

"Hey look at this bitch who finally shows back up. Apparently I didn't push her hard enough last time,so this time it's just going to have to be worse." Kelley says as I'm hanging the air.

"Let me down Kelley!" I say loudly.

"Why should I bitch!" She say sternly.

"Because of this!" I say as I hit her with a left hook and she hits the ground. I bend down beside her, " that's why Kelley, you don't want to piss me off this early in the morning." I stand up and walk down the hallway to see Ashlyn and Ali kiss in the locker banks.

"Well look who finally had the balls to tell Ali how they felt." I laughed as I put my arm around Ashlyn.

"Hahahah really damn funny Heath! Where's your girl at." She asked.

"She is at her locker or something. I need to talk to you and Hope about some stuff. Where is Hope at anyways." I ask.

"She is on her way to see her dad for a few weeks." Ashlyn says.

"Oh okay! Well can I talk to y'all about this, because I don't know what to do." I say stressed out.

Ali looks at me and can see I'm really about this and is confused because she doesn't know why.

"What's wrong Tobin?" She questions. "Did something happen."

"No I need to tell Alex about my past but I can't risk losing her." I say almost in tears.

"Tobin calm down, you have to do what's right. If you loose her then that is her loss. Tobin you are an amazing person, and you give that girl the world, if she can't see that then you don't need her." Ali tells me.

"Thank you Ali I'm glad I have you and Ashlyn." I say as I hug her and Ashlyn.

The bell was about to ring, I went to find Alex. I see her and pull her in to an empty classroom. She sees its me and pulls me in to a passionate kiss.

"I didn't know how hard this was going to be I just wish I could show everyone that we are dating." Alex whisper into my ear while kissing my neck.

"Alex stop or we are going to be late for class." I say as I pull away and give her one last kiss as I walk out the door.

Alex and I walk to civics and sit down in our seat. Mehfoud walks over and welcomes me back. Alex cracks jokes on him all class about everything and anything. I look at her and flash her my million dollar smile. And she starts to blush, so she turns the other way. Class ends and we head back to our lockers and we go our separate ways to second block which I have with Ali and I didn't know. I sit down beside her and start talking.

"Hey Ali will you go with me to the mall later and help me pick out a gift for Alex?" I ask with out anyone's hearing me besides Ali.

"Yeah totally Tobs, have you thought anymore about what he talked about this morning?" She asks.

"Yeah I'm going to take her out and tell her everything. I say.

"That's good Tobs I'm glad you're going to tell she deserves to know." Ali say.

"The only reason I'm doing it is because of you and Ashlyn," I tell her

"I'm glad I could help," she says

We sit in class and talk a little more and take notes and watch some stupid video that no one plaid attention to. The bell finally rings and Tobin goes to her locker and gets her parents to call and check her and Alex out so they can go get lunch together. They head to Alex car and Kelley comes running up to Tobin.

"I'm not fighting you O'Hara!" Tobin says sternly.

"I just want to talk Heath nothing more." Kelley says.

"Hey Alex get in the car, I will be there in a minute." Alex get in the car and starts it. "What do you want to talk about?"

"I just want to say I'm sorry, what I did was fucked up." Kelley says sincerely.

"Okay?" I say confused.

"I have went through a lot recently and I took it out on you and I'm sorry. Can we call us even." Kelley says as she sticks her hand out for me to shake on it.

"Alright! Yeah!" I say as I shake her hand.

We go our different was and I get in the car with Alex. I give her a kiss and we head out going to get food. We eat and head back to school and finish off the day. I walk to my locker and told Alex that I was going with Ali to the mall and she could come over after I got back and we could "study".

I walk to Ali's car and her and Ashlyn are there making out.

"Excuse me I have plans tonight so can we get this over with. Please!" I ask.

"Oh yeah let's go." Ali says as she gets in the car .

We get to the mall and go to the jewelry store and pick out a necklace a heart with diamonds around it and I get AM + TH 10/14/15 with an infinity symbol. I pay the lady and head back to my house. I hide the necklace and text Alex to come over.
