Chapter 8

Alex's POV:

I get Tobin's text and I start walking down stairs, when my dad comes out kitchen extremely drunk and mad about something. I try not to get him to notice me because I know ever since my mom was kill he wasn't been the same, and when he's drunk which is pretty much all the time an more it worst.

"Alex where the hell do you think you are going." He yelled

"I am going to Tobin to do homework." I say as calmly as possible.

"No you are not going to see that gay ass bitch." He screamed getting even madder.

"Dad I already promised her I would." I say walking down the stair with my keys and my book bag on my shoulder.

"No you are not!!! I don't give a fuck who you promised." He screams as he pushes me into a wall.

"Daddy please stop." I say as I start to cry.

"You're just like your fuck pathetic mother." He yell in my face as he smacked me across the face.

I could smell the beer on his breath and all I could do is cry. I slid down the wall and into the floor.

"Get up you little bitch! You're nothing to me all you are is a mistake." He screams in my face as he kicks me multiple times in the rib cage.

He turns around and staggers away from me laying  on the floor spitting up blood. I finally manage to get to my feet. I can barely move as am going my car spitting blood everywhere. I know a few of my ribs are broke and I have a black eye.

I get in the car and drive as fast as possible to Tobin's I don't know what I'm goi g to tell her that happened because she can't know about my dad. I'm crying and trying to drive my right eye is swelling shut by the minute and I'm losing sight out of it and I can't hardly breath. I feel like something is stabbing me and I can't breath.

Tobin's POV:

It has almost been an hour since Alex said she was on her way and I'm really starting to freak out I don't know if she is okay or if something happened or if she found someone better and I lost her. The door bell goes off and I look in the drive way and I see it's her car. I take of to the door and I open the door to fined my girlfriend hurt I completely flip out. I can't even move or ask what happened it like I just got the wind knocked out of me by a soccer ball.

"Babe!! What happened?" I say trying to stay calm.

"I was walking down the stair and I slipped and fell." Alex says.

"I'm taking you to they hospital ... Now!!! Come on babe this is not good why didn't you just call me and tell me what happened I would have came and got you."

"I figured I would be easier if I just came here." She says calmly.

"Okay well come on you need to get some x-rays taken." I say as we pull out of the my drive way.

I held her hand the whole way there and I could tell she was in pain. I was so scared because I have never since her this way.

We finally get there and I carry her into the ER and ask for a doctor.

" What is her name ms? What happened?" The lady questions

"Her name is Alex Morgan, she fell down the stairs." I answer.

"Okay we need to take a seat in the waiting room and wait for the doctor." The nurse said kindly.

We took a seat in the waiting room there was a few people in there and they stared at use as we sat there hand in hand. Soon, the doctor can in and ask to see Alex and we got up together, and they wouldn't let me go back with her, it kind of pissed me since I am the only one she has right now. I sat and wait for what felt like an hour and a nurse finally came in the and talk to me.

"I need to speak with Tobin Heath please." The lady said as she walk in the room.

"That's me!" I say as I stand up and walk with her.

"Alex is in a lot of pain so we decide it would be best if we kept her over night to help alittle with the pain but she can go home tomorrow. Will she be staying with you?"

"Okay well umm does she need to stay with me?" I question a little confused.

"Yes! If it is possible we would like that because we trust her with you." She spoke kindly.

"Okay then yes ma'am, she is staying with me that isn't a problem." I reply. "So what is exactly wrong with her miss." I ask concerned

"She has for broken ribs on her right side and a punctured lung, we have sent in a prescription for the pain she may have and some other things to help her heal." She explains.

"Thank you so much for you time miss may I see my girlfriend yet." I ask worried to see her.

"Yes of course! I'm sorry right this way." She says as she starts leading me to Lex's room.

I walk in the room and she looks so helpless with the ivy going into her arm and the heart meter. I wish the was some thing I could do I sit down beside her and grab her hand gently and press my lips against her soft skin. We sit there hand in hand until I get a text from my mom asking where I am.

C: Hey Tobin where are you we just got home and you aren't here I'm worried about you!

T: Hey sorry mom Alex had an accident so I'm at the hospital with her.

C: Oh okay is she okay?

T: She has four broken ribs and a punctured lung but other then that yes she will be okay she's a fighter. :)

C: When are you going to be home?

T: I was planing on staying here with her for the night. If that's okay with you?

C: Yeah that's fine.

T: Hey mom I have a question.

C: Okay what is it?

T: Can Alex stay with us till she gets better the nurse said they would prefer she did? Please Mom.

C: Umm well I guess but she is staying in your sisters old room deal.

T: haha yes mom that sounds great.

C: Well I will see you in the morning I love you!

T: Love you to ma :*

I locked my phone and laid back in the chair starting to doze of we that beautiful raspy voice says my name.

"Tobin?" She ask confused.

"Yes baby what do you need?" I ask considerably.

"Some water please." She says.

"Okay here you go." I say as I hand her a bottle of water and kiss her soft pink lips.
