Juliet POV

Spending time with Cameron alone in the woods was one thing that never crossed my mind. As I looked over at his calm form staring into the open meadow a smile spread across my face. He was so calm about everything. It made the atmosphere around us less awkward and more comfortable. I cleared my throat, and looked away.

"My parents are multimillionaires. I get what I want, when I want. They never say no to me. My father loves me more than anything, my mom admires me. I'm an only child." I said, and he looked over at me.

"Why are you telling me this?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. I shrugged, and wrapped my jacket tighter around my body.

"I trust you"

"You don't know me."

"I don't have to." As he went to answer, his phone rang in his pocket. He hurriedly grabbed it and answered. I stood up, and walked away giving him time on the phone. I walked over to the sun flowers in the meadow and smiled softly. Everything was so calm, and the next minute it wasn't.

"FUCK!" I heard him yell, and I spun around quickly to see him hang up the phone and punch a tree. "We need to go. I need to get home, now." He growled and grabbed his jacket off the tree branch laying on the ground that we had formally been sitting on. I ran after him, turning my flashlight on and jogging beside him.

"What's wrong?" I asked, and he glanced over at me. We made our way through the woods and to my car without another word. I got in the front seat, and he got in the passenger side. "What happened?" I asked, starting the car and pulling away.

"None of your business." He snapped, and looked out of the window. "Can you drive faster, please" he groaned. I rolled my eyes, and sped up.

After I dropped off Cameron at the park, I drove to the Starbucks at the corner of the street to meet up with Cheyenne. Once I got there, I walked in and got a coffee before sitting in front of Cheyenne.

"So, I take it things didn't go good." She said, raising an eyebrow. I rolled my eyes and looked out the window.

"How would you know?"

"You hate coffee. The only time you drink it is if something didn't go your way. So, spill. What happened." Just at that time the lady called my name, and I walked over to get it. I sat back down, and took a sip. My nose pinched up in a cringe at the nasty bitter taste.

"He didn't tell me anything. He was so closed up." I said, and looked down at my phone as it beeped.

From Daddy: hey honey, your mom and I need you to come home as soon as possible. Love you.

I sighed and texted back before looking out the window again.

"I got to go my dads leaving for business and wants to say bye. I'll talk to you later." I smiled and gave her a hug before throwing my coffee away and walking out. As I got into my car, I heard a voice I recognized as Cameron's.

"I can't do anything. He'll hurt her if I do."
