Juliet POV
I groaned, opening my eyes. A bright light hit me, and I squeezed my eyes shut, moving my hands to my face.
"She's up!" Someone yelled, and I felt my bed move. Wait, bed? My eyes shot open, and I looked over to see Matt standing next to me, talking to someone on my other side. I looked around, realizing I was in a hospital. I tried to sit up, but Matt stopped me.
"What's going on? Why am I here?" I asked, my eyes wide as I looked around, confused. A doctor walked in, giving me a smile.
"Hello, Juliet. How are you?" He asked, putting in his ear bud things to check my heart. I frowned, looking over at Matt. Taylor walked over, and smiled at me.
"What's going on?" I croaked, my arm hurting. "My arm hurts, why does my arm hurt?" I asked, groaning. I looked at the doctor, but he didn't reply.
"Juliet, you were in a car crash." Matt said slowly, as if I was stupid. I looked at Taylor, and then the doctor. He was writing on his clip board.
"What? No I wasn't." I said, shaking my head. "No i-i was at the park and I fell asleep and-" Matt cut me off, grabbing my hand.
"Nash found you asleep in your car. He was on his way to bring you home when a car crashed into your side-" before he could finish, I yanked my hand away, trying to sit up.
"Nash? Where's Nash?" I asked rapidly, trying to look around the room. The only ones in the room were Matt and Taylor. "Where's Nash?!" I yelled, when nobody answered me.
"He- Juliet he-" Matt stuttered, not being able to talk. He had tears in his eyes, threatening to spill. My eyes went to Taylor, he stood still looking at the ground.
"Taylor." I said, catching his attention. "Where's Nash?" I asked slowly, gulping. I was afraid to hear the answer. I knew it wasn't good.
"He's in surgery" he whispered, "he jumped on top of you when the car crashed into your side. He saved your life, Juliet." He said, looking at me with a serious face. Tears sprung to my eyes, and I shook my head.
"NO! no your lying! You Lier!" I yelled, refusing to believe him. "No! Nash, Nash!" I screamed, starting to sob. "NASH! NASH! NO! YOUR LYING YOU'RE A LIER! NASH!"
"Shes going into shock!" The doctor yelled, running over to me. He grabbed my arm, but I pulled away. I got up, yanking the IVs out of my arm.
"I NEED NASH! NASH!" I yelled, tears running down my cheeks. I tried to run out the door, but Taylor grabbed me, holding me back. "GET OFF OF ME! NASH! NASH!" I tried to fight him and get away, but it was useless. I didn't know what was going on, but I felt something prick my arm. I started to get dizzy and tired. I fell limp in Taylors arms, whispering for Nash.
Matt POV {5 hours later}
Tears ran down my cheeks as I watched her chest rise up and down. The monitors were beeping in the back ground, but I wasn't paying attention to that. All that I cared about was my two best friends. How could I let this happen? I should have known something was wrong.
"Its not your fault." Johnson said to me, coming beside me and putting an arm on my shoulder. I looked up at him through blury eyes, giving him a weak smile. I stood up, and walked over to the door.
"I-Im going to see Nash" I said softly, opening the door and walking down the hall. Once I got to his room, I walked in. Nash was laying in the bed, monitors hooked up to him all over. His parents were sitting on the chair beside him, asleep.
Because Nash jumped in front of Juliet, he had to go into surgery. He broke his arm, and he had a bleed in his abdomen. More tears flowed down my cheeks as I saw his sleeping form. His body stirred, and he looked over at me. I gave him a small smile, walking closer to his bed.
"Hey there hero" I joked, making him laugh. He frowned, coughing.
"Dont make me laugh" he coughed, "it hurts."
"Right, sorry."
"How's Juliet?" He asked, looking at me with a serious expression.
"She's asleep. The doctors had to put her to sleep." I said, and tears sprang to his eyes. "No no, not like that. She's fine, she has a couple bruises but that's all. You saved her life." A smile spread across his face, and he sighed in relief.
"Why'd they put her to sleep?" He asked, a frown forming on his face. I bit my lip, sitting down.
"She kind of went in shock and started freaking out when she found out what happened to you.. She wouldn't stop trying to get away, and she even attacked Taylor." I chuckled, trying to lighten the subject.
"That sounds like her. She's crazy" Nash laughed, but started coughing again. "Thank god she's okay." I opened my mouth to say something, but Nash's mom had stood up and rushed over to Nash, kissing him all over his face. I chuckled, and walked out of the room. I walked to the waiting room, and when I saw someone sitting there, looking down
I stopped walking and looked at the boy. All the boys were in Juliet's room, and this was our private waiting room. I walked closer, and then I realized who it was. I stopped in my tracks, my fists clenching. I tried to calm down, knowing Juliet wouldn't want me to start a problem with him. I walked over, and stood in front of him. He looked up at me with a blank expression. It was hard to try and keep calm, especially the way he had a blank expression on his face. As if he didn't care that Juliet was here."What are you doing here, Cameron?"
Author note: Oh my god. It was so hard to write this chapter, literally crying. Thank God Nash is okay.
