Juliet POV

Do you know how if you see a cute purse at the store but don't get it, you think about it a lot? That's how I felt. Cameron's been on my mind all week sense I saw him at the park. I don't know what it was that only made him slide on the slide, but I intended to find out. I thought a lot of things,

He could have a obsession with slides

He could only play on one obstacle a day

He could have a phobia of the other obstacles

But all those didn't make sense. The only one I came up with that sorta made sense was that maybe I just caught him at the wrong time. That's the thought that I stuck with. Until the next day as I was driving home. I glanced over at the park, and there he was. Laying on the slide, looking up at the sky. Everyday all week I passed the park slowly, and saw him sliding down the slide. One day, I even left school early to get here before him. I stayed where he couldn't see me. He had walked to the slide, and started sliding until he just laid there, looking at the sky. It was so intriguing, seeing him only slide on the slide every single day after school. I want to know why he only slid on the slides, I want to know why he never talked to anyone, I want to know every little detail about him. I also want to know why I want to know those things. It was like gravity, except he's my ground, he pulls me to him.

I guess that's why I'm doing what I'm doing. As I walk towards the slide, to him, I can't help but feel nervous. What if he just ignores me? What if he just leaves? I stopped in my tracks, contemplating if I should just walk away. I shook my head, and forced my feet forward. Once I arrived, he looked up at me, but his hat blocked me from seeing his eyes.

"Hey, I'm Juliet!" I said cheerfully, smiling at him. He looked around, before looking back at me.

"Okay" was all he said, before he got up and walked away. I stood there with my mouth wide open and my eyes trained on him. Anger rushed in my veins and I stormed over to him. How dare he ignore me.

"Excuse you, I was talking to you." I snapped, standing in front of him preventing him from leaving. He pushed his hat down further and tried walking away. I grabbed his arm, and yanked his hat off. That's when I noticed the huge bruise on his eye. That's why he had his hat on.. I gasped involuntarily and let go of his arm, covering my mouth. His hat fell out of my hand, and he snatched it up before walking away again. I blinked once, twice, before running over to him and grabbing his arm again.

"What?" He asked calmly although he looked annoyed. I took a deep breath, and dragged him over to my car.

"Get in." I ordered, getting in the drivers side. He got in, and slammed the door shut. "What happened to your eye?" I asked, starting the car and driving the opposite direction of the way he walked the last time he left the park. He frowned, his body stiffening.

"None of your business." He muttered, and looked out the window, "where are we going?" He asked turning to look at me. I shrugged, and kept driving down the long road.

"I don't know, I've never been down this road." I frowned, realizing I actually haven't been down this road.

"What? We're going to get lost!" He scolded, putting his seatblet on.

"So? We'll find our way back eventually. Besides, we could both use an adventure." I shrugged, and took a turn down a road. We were completely surrounded by woods. I took a couple more turns before I parked the car on the side of the road, and got out, Cameron following behind me. I grabbed my flashlight and jacket before motioning Cameron into the woods. He gave me an uncertain look.

"I hope your not going to kill me, because I'm strong and I will have no problem with killing you and getting away with it."
