Tyler's PoV

Well this is weird. I'm still in the office but it's like everyone around me is frozen, Jace is leaning over my body looking so worried I want to break free from here and comfort him. "It's ok pup, you can do that soon" I hear an angelic voice say from behind me. I turn, there in front of me is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. "Thank you pup" she says. "H..how did you know what i thought?" I question. "I am the moon goddess I see and hear most things my child" realisation hits me and I immediately bow my head.

Timid fingers pull up my face from under my chin "none of that nonsense. Now we need to talk, don't you think?" I just nod not wanting to say the wrong thing to the creator of our kind. "You are not the King of the wolves. That is just a myth and it's just coincidence that your story matches that of the tale. You do however have a very powerful wolf, that is why your mate and brother submitted to his demands to comfort him when you marked one another. Did you ever wonder why he never took over when you were being abused ?".

I shrug "I just figured that he was scared, it was not a nice time in my life and I couldn't blame him for not wanting to take over. Why should he have to take it too" I hear my wolf howl in anger but I don't understand. "You hear that, that is your wolf he is an old soul his name is Artemis. He was trapped within you and was unable to come forward fully until you were marked and mated. He could shift etc but he's stronger than most and has more knowledge than the other wolves alive today. He hasn't special powers or any of the mock stuff but he is simply reborn in you and that brings years of knowledge in itself. He was fated to you and is very strong and you won't feel the full effect until your mated. This is why I'm here, you must face your fear and go ahead with the mating. There is trouble on the way and if your not at your full potential and don't make the right moves, there will be dark times ahead. Your mate and family will help you but first you must help Artemis become free".

I don't know what to say here is the moon goddess telling me to get over it and have sex, it's not something that happens everyday. She bursts out laughing "I am not saying get over it, you always were a funny pup" I blush at that. "Seriously though, I don't want you to end up in a situation like you were before and I cannot tell you much more than I have, for fate needs to play out, be it for the good or the bad. I will watch over you as best I can but the start of your healing is up to you, you know Jace won't hurt you, trust in that alone. When Artemis is free he will do what he wanted to do from the start, he will take away your hurt, the mental and physical hurt that you endured will no longer haunt you and you too can be free". She explains.

"I'm just so scared but I trust you to tell me what I need to do. Is time frozen or what's happening, I really want to let them know I'm ok now and that it was just a myth" "no, it's not frozen you are just passed out as far as they're concerned. Go back little pup and take care, remember to keep your guard up but trust those closest to you, look around this room and think of those who are not here and you will know your not alone and your loved. Goodbye pup". She vanishes and I can feel myself coming around.

I flutter my eyes open adjusting to the light when I'm suddenly hauled into strong arms "are you ok precious?" Jace asks frantically. I hug him tightly and breathe in his scent, "I'm ok but I need to talk to you and the others. He sits on the couch but doesn't let me go simply places me in his lap, Skyler comes and takes my hand. I explain everything the moon goddess told me and feel Jace tense at the mention of darker times ahead. "No we will make the right moves, you will never face dark times again, every wolf in the two packs will ensure your safety and you will be with me, the alpha twins, our betas or Nick at all times. I won't have any argument from y-" "shh, babe I'm not arguing it's been kinda like that anyway since the attack at the twins house. I promise to have at least one dominant wolf with me at all times ok, I love you" I kiss him to calm him down.

I wiggle in his lap until he frees me and I go over to his parents I holdout my hand and say "hi I'm Tyler your sons other mate. I'm sorry I wasn't there last night I hope the situation was explained to you" his father shakes my hand while his mother says "oh honey we understand and we are here for you, your our son now too so come give mama a hug" "oomph" she is strong for such a small woman but she feels like home. Not even the twins mother, who I love like a mother, makes me feel like this and I know that I belong here in her arms. "Thank you" I whisper to her. "No it's thank you mom to you" I smile at her and say "thank you mom" making her smile.

"Hey mom, let him go so he can come meet his new brother" I hear Reece say jokingly. I am realised and then hugged again by him, just then he thinks it's funny to give me a nuggy while horsing around. I'm laughing but Jace doesn't take it as funny "let him go now!" He says in his alpha tone, Reece jumps away from me like I'm on fire "calm down love we were playing, I'm not made of glass" I tell him. He looks at me like I've lost it "don't give me the stink eye mr. Now that we know I'm not the all mighty King can we please for the love of the goddess go have our day off. We need a big injection of fun around here". They all laugh but totally agree.
