Such a big miracle for such a little girl
"She's beautiful."
"What shall we name her?"
"Her hair reminds me of the flowers near the river. You know the ones that bloom in summer?"
"Yes. So Natsu?"
"Let's not forget she's also beautiful. So Natsumi."
(Fun fact Natsumi means, beautiful summer or flames of beauty, back to story)
'At least the name is a bit alike.'
Natsumi decides to open her eyes. "My, what a beautiful eyes. Like black pearls."
Natsumi looks at her parents, from what they were just saying she realized she must have kept her old looks. As she inspects them she takes in their appearance. Her father, she believes his name is Richard, has red hair and blue eyes. His kind of looks like how Natsumi used to look like.
She turns her gaze towards her mother who was named Jill, the woman is beautiful! She has white hair and violet eyes. Her heart shaped face and rosy cheeks are a finishing touch to her beauty. Natsumi wishes she could tell her father he did a good job, but all that came out was baby sounds.
"Looks like we got a talker dear." Richard chuckled.
Not long after it was time for the diaper change. As her mother removed the little blanked she stopped suddenly. "Richard come take a look at this."
Richard walked over towards his wife. "Something wrong?"
"Look at her neck. It's like there's a scar."
Richard takes a closer inspection. "Your right. How could she have gotten it?" His gaze looks at Natsumi looking for more scars. "I don't see more but she has a spot on her right shoulder."
By saying that he caught Natsumi's attention and she looks at her shoulder herself. For her parents it's just a weird little birthmark on her shoulder. But Natsumi recognizes that mark from miles away.
It's the Fairy Tail symbol.
Right were her old one used to be. She likes it, it shows that she'll always be part of Fairy Tail. And before she notices it herself, she starts laughing and giggling.
"I think she likes it Jill."
"Well that's good, I kind of like it to. But it looks a bit familiar, I just can't place it."
A few months later,
Natsumi is soundly asleep in her crib, she's growing fast. Her mother decided to let Natsumi's hair grow since it has a pretty pink color. She's wearing a pink one-piece pajamas and snores very lightly. Next to her crib stands a dark figure watching over her.
"Don't worry Natsu, I made sure you'll have all your memories so you can be reunited with your friends. Your magic is also still inside you, but it will take some time to develop again. You'll be even stronger than before."
He gently strokes the pink locks. "When you're ready I'll make sure your friends will find you. It will take a few years. But you'll meet again. And until then. I'll be watching over you. You'll grow up like you deserved to. Not as a demon, but as a child. Not with a dragon, but with other humans. Be patient little brother."
He puts a spell on Natsumi, "This will let you act more like your age and gender. You'll still have you intelligence and you'll probably be a bit of a tomboy. But it will make growing up a bit easier on you."
"Besides. You're not the only one."
Natsumi was crawling around the living room when she noticed something on the table. It was sorcerers weekly. Normally she wouldn't be interested in that junk her mother liked to read. But today the Fairy Tail symbol on the cover perked her interest.
She took hold of the low table and stood wobbly up with her hands on the table for support. She took the magazine and fell on her bum. She spread the magazine out on the floor and read (yes, she can still read.) what the cover said.
'NEW Fairy Tail Photo-shoot!'
She opened the magazine and started looking for the right page. When she found it she was greeted by a picture of Mira posing for the camera. 'I see Mira hasn't changed.' But when she turned the page she was greeted by one of the persons she missed the most.
"Lu!"
Her mother enters the room and looks at the sight in front of her. "Do you like that sweetheart?" she asks with a smile.
"Lu! Lu!"
Jill giggles at her adorable little girl.
"Fairy Tail!"
Jill's eyes were wide. Her daughter's first word was something none of them had said before her. And it wasn't even such an easy word to begin with!
"Natsumi can you say something else?"
"Happy!"
Jill and Richard both said our little girl is going to be a smart one
Natsumi and her parent were out for a walk in town.
"To think she's not even one year old and we already have to buy new clothes for her."
"Well she is growing fast dear."
They walked inside a kids store when Natsumi noticed something on one of the shelves. And she immediately tries to reach the plushy of a blue cat. "Happy!"
Richard reaches for the plushy and takes it. "You like this princess?" Normally Natsumi would pout at the nickname but now she had only eyes for the cat. "Happy!"
Richard looks at Jill. "What do you think dear?"
Jill sighs. "I don't want to spoil our child but come to think of it, she doesn't really have any other stuffed animals."
Richard gives the cat to Natsumi who hugs it tightly.
As they walk through the store and buying new clothes for Natsumi they end up in the winter department. "Winter is coming dear and I don't want Natsumi to be cold."
"She doesn't get cold, you noticed yourself. She doesn't like to sleep with a blanket and when she goes for a bath the water starts boiling when she enters it. I'm telling you our daughter has a build in fire."
Natsumi smiles. 'He doesn't have a clue.' And she sees something in the corner of her eye, and crawls towards it. Right there is a white scarf. It isn't the one she got from Igneel, but it looks a lot like it, its wool material and looks perfect. After feeling a bit she knows she'll even be able to wear it during summer. It will do until she has her old scarf back.
"You like that sweetie?" Natsumi looks at her mother who is crouched next to her. Natsumi excitingly nods.
When they are at the checkout the clerk asks when she reaches the scarf. "Would you like something printed on the scarf? Like a name?"
Before either of her parents could answer Natsumi yells. "Fairy Tail!"
Her father laughs, he's well aware of his daughter newfound fandom for the guild. "Can you print the Fairy Tail symbol on it?"
"Happy to!"
"And on the plushy as well?"
The clerk nods. "Of course sir. What colors would your daughter like?"
Jill looks at Natsumi. "What color would you like on the scarf dear?"
"Black!"
"And on Happy?"
"Green!"
The clerk looks astonished. "Your daughter can speak very well for her age."
Richard stands proudly. "Yes! She's a true miracle!"
after shopping they went to a café to have lunch both Richard and Jill asked what she wanted for lunch. Natsumi said i want a plate with two pounds of ham and a juice box. Jill said honey thats too much for you but natsumi cried but i am very hungry. ok Jill said. natsumi parents order a salad and soup after lunch they went home and natsumi went to bed
