Chapter 6:Reunion at the guild

Are you ready to go?" Richard asked an excited Natsumi. They decided to have dinner at the guild so Natsumi could see all her friends even sooner. Right now she was tugging at her father's pants.

"Yes! Let's go already!" She said. She tried to pull harder but the fabric slipped through her hands and she fell on her butt.

"Ouch." Richard held her small hands in his and helped her stand up. She put her small feet on his bigger once and Richard did some small steps so Natsumi's own little legs could move with them with ease. Natsumi started giggling, it felt weird too feel your legs move without controlling them.

"We'll still have to wait for your mother princess." He said when Natsumi jumped of his feet.

"Can I wait downstairs?" She asked.

"Sure but don't leave the building."

"I won't." She took her Happy plushy and put on her coat, she had noticed earlier it was quite chilly outside.

She exited their apartment and walked down the stairs while singing a little song. "Ooone step for mommy~ Twooo steps for daddy~"

Lucy walked out her door and held the little bag close. Since Natsu had returned she decided it would only be fair to give it back. She was happy her friends at the guild let her hold onto it after his death.

"Eeeeleven steps for Granny~ and tweeelve steps for my family~!" Lucy saw a little girl take a big jump of the last step. It was utterly adorable. She must be the daughter of the family who moved into the apartment upstairs.

Her door closed with a click and the girl looked at Lucy. And her face lit up. "LUCE! ~" the girl ran forward and hugged Lucy's legs. "I missed you so much!"

Lucy was surprised and didn't know what to do. Wait. Pink hair, black eyes, white scarf. "Natsu?!"

Natsumi looked at Lucy with the biggest smile possible. "You hold the record for noticing!"

Lucy got tears in her eyes of happiness. She knelt down and hugged the girl close. "I can't believe it. It's really you i thought i would never see you alive!"

Natsumi hugged Lucy back. "Come on Luce, don't cry. You're letting a five year old comfort you." She said while she patted Lucy's back.

Lucy laughed and let go of Natsumi when Natsumi noticed the bag. "What's in there? Is it food?" She asked.

Lucy laughed once more. "Why don't we wait until we're at the guild hall? I'll show you whats in it then."

Natsumi pouted. "No fair."

"I see you already found one of your old friend's sweetie." Lucy looked at a woman who stood next to a man.

The man chuckled. "You know we had bought an action figure of you for her birthday. It's one of her favorites."

Lucy assumed as how they spoke to her they must be Natsu's new parents. And it was confirmed when Natsu spoke. "Mama, papa can we go now!?"

" of course princess."

The mother walked towards Lucy, "It's nice to meet you Miss Lucy. My name is Jill and my husband is Richard. We're Natsumi's parents but I'm sure you already noticed." She said with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you to. Is it alright if I walk with you?"lucy said

"of course you can" Jill and Richard replied

At the guild doors "This is it princess. Are you ready to see all your friends again?" Richard asked. But Natsumi was very nervous.

"How about I'll announce it first?" Lucy asked.
