Chapter 12: Loving you in Silence

They both sat on the bench in the top of the cliff facing the ocean as they quietly watch the setting sun on the western horizon. City lights were started to sparkle at the distant island shore and the evening breeze were playing with their hair as they both sat there in silence.

Luciella yawned sleepily. "Neeh Hanne, I'm sleepy." Kinusot niya ang mata "but I don't want to leave yet..." Umiling iling pa siya. "Not yet."

Kinabig ni Rohanne and ulo ni Luciella papuntang balikat niya closing the distance between them. "Sleep." He commanded and despite of the surprise, Luciella can't help but smile while she slowly close her eyes.

Luciella Tsukasa - Sky POV

"Haaaaaaaachoooooou~" a gentle sneeze that escaped out of my mouth that woke me up feeling a heavy something on my head.

Ehh?

T'was Rohanne. He fell asleep next to me too. I look up at him while moving slowly to avoid waking him up as he sleeps so peacefully. Poor guy.. I smiled and poke his cheek mildly but repeatedly. He must be exhausted taking care of a wife like me? But despite of having him as a baby sitter, he really is cute and handsome this way.. just like a sleeping child finally found his comfort zone.

Don't worry, a few days more left and you'll be free.. We'll both be.. and I don't know if I'll be wanting that day to come...

I smiled slowly as I look down and stare at the twinkling diamond ring he gave me on my left hand. I remembered the first time he gave me this;

"Wear this shit!"

"P-pero.."

"No more buts geez, antigas talaga ng ulo mong babae ka!"

I smiled on the thought. And then there's the very first time I saw him;

Pfffft!! Pinigilan kong matawa! Nag walk-out pa siya pagkatapos niyang sabihin yon! Who would have thought na yung lalaking beast mode palagi na akala mo laging may period kung magsungit eh para ngayong batang natutulog sa balikat ko? But, come to think of it.. There are too many things I didn't know about him, about his life, his past. We often spent our time apart ever since we got married. Is he eating up right? Arggh~ And now I think I know my real feelings for him.

I looked at the sky for a diversion and the surroundings realizing the sun has already set.

Ilang oras ba kaming nakatulok? I blinked.

Nagaagaw na ang dilim at liwanag as the stars starts showing on the night sky ruled by the golden plated moon. The ocean water reflects the moonlight complimented by the city lights on the nearby islands. This place really is an amazing spot!

"Fireflies!" I stood up as I excitedly removes my shoes and chase them as they flew in harmony of the night breeze.

"When the street lights come on and the fireflies flicker,

I am walking her home making plans,"
