Chapter 9

Louis' P.O.V

When Louis and Harry said that they had gone out to get lunch, that wasn't completely true. Although they were going to get lunch on their way back, the actual reason why they had gone out was because amongst the midst of all this chaos an interview by the managers was considered 'urgent'.

Louis was idly twiddling his thumbs, hoping that they would arrive at the interview place soon. Normally when Louis talked to Harry, they would just have a light conversation and joke around. But it seemed so wrong to laugh and smile whilst in the knowledge that one of your best mates lay stone cold in a coffin waiting for their funeral.

Louis looked over at Harry, whose hands held the steering wheel so tightly that his knuckles had gone white. Harry had gone from a tanned owner of a six pack who charmed all the ladies, to a man who brooded away in his room. Louis couldn't remember the last time that Harry had taken a girl home, normally Louis enjoyed not having to listen to their all night private 'party' but Harry's hostility was a constant reminder of what happened.

Louis had tried to stay positive, after all with a child on the way he wanted to be there to support his family. However Louis hadn't spoken to Eleanor for a long time, he really did love her and hated himself for acting so foolishly whilst on tour. He had decided to keep his love life relatively clean for now, besides he just wanted a break from that. Dating would only make Louis seem like a heartless man who though that he should constantly date.

"We are here. " Said Harry quietly. Louis unbuckled his seatbelt and stepped out of the car. He and Harry were then rushed away by their management team to hair and makeup. Normally Louis would protest about the make up, but he knew that he looked awful. Restless nights had taken their toll, and he had dark purple circles under his eyes.

"Ready?" Asked Harry. Louis nodded.

"Ready." They clasped their hands with each other, for support and walked on to the stage. They had known that this interview was coming, but nothing could have ever prepared them for what happened next.

A/N: Yay I think that I have finished editing, if there are any messed up paragraphs please let me know in the comments or give me a message. Had a little Larry moment, I don't think that I will make them a proper couple because I don't think it will be necessary for the storyline, and it will complicate things a little. More people have been reading! Thank you so much, it means the world to me. To those who are still reading, thank you, a lot of people left when I made it more obvious that Niall had loved Liam. Whether it was because it made them uncomfortable or maybe they wanted a girl boy romance I don't know. Here's the thing, I believe that love is beautiful no matter who it is shared by.
