Chapter 16

A/N: ok I don't own tinder and I have never used it, so I don't really know how it works. I know that you swipe left or right depending on whether you like someone or not... I think? Please don't be annoyed that I don't know, if it really is wrong then I can make up a name or whatever. Also I would like to mention that I am not advertising it in anyway as in my opinion it seems a little bit silly to base a relationship on looks. Also I have no idea how long tinder has been going for, in this story just pretend that it's quite old and that Niall made an account when he was younger (just before xfactor) for a laugh.

*Two days later*
Niall's P.O.V
Niall had been pacing in his room for about an hour now, with his hand hovering over the message icon. He had decided that in order to move on he should try to date someone; the idea was that with someone to love and care about, Niall would spend less time thinking of Liam, and more time on moving on.

He took a deep breath in, he could do this. With his hands trembling, he tapped the message button. Almost immediately, the keyboard popped up in anticipation of Niall's message. That was when Niall realised that he had not thought this through properly. What the hell do you say to a girl who you've never met? "Hey girl, nice boobs." Niall giggled childishly, that would probably put her off. It seemed too forward to say something romantic, anything sappy like, "Your eyes sparkle like a diamond in the sun, such beauty dazzles me and I am intrigued to know you" Niall cringed as he imagined the girl reading the message before puking.

Niall ran his hands through his hair, before hastily typing out 'hi' and sending it. Would she reply? How long would it take for a reply? What if it had been a mistake and she didn't even like Niall? With all these thoughts swimming around his mind, he almost missed seeing his phone light up, with a notification from Tinder. "New message" it read.

Hi I'm Braith.

Niall stared at the message, and fumbled to reply.

Niall: That's a nice name :-)

Braith: Thanks! It's Welsh.

Niall: I'm Niall.

Braith: I noticed that...

Niall chuckled quietly to himself as his conversation with Braith continued. She seemed like a really nice person, although she wasn't a barbie lookalike Niall thought that what she may have lacked in looks, she made up for in personality. It turned out that Braith loved helping with charity organisations, and one day hoped to see the world without conflict, poverty or any form of inequality. And even though it could sound a little bit dodgy, Niall hoped one day to meet her.

A/N: Sorry for the short chapter! I will not be putting any pictures of the main character up because she's kind of a mix of people I know. You should never go up to someone because they look 'fit' or whatever, because they could turn out to be a douche. Yes I think that it's ok to not want to look like a mess, but sometimes I think people lose themselves to an unrealistic idea of beauty and in the process they forget how to be decent. And please never ever insult a person or laugh at their appearance even it its behind their back. Too many people think that it's ok to say something like "look at what their wearing" they're so ugly" people will even judge people on their eyebrows. Although I don't care whether you were make up or not, it's sad and pathetic to expect everyone to look blemish free. Some people can't afford to buy make up, some people can't afford designer clothes.

We've all been a victim of bullying at some point in our lives. But it's so easy to break someone to tears and to laugh it off as a joke. If a joke is at someone's expense then it is bullying.

Sorry for the preach, I just feel like people don't realise that they are bullies when they do it. I think I might expand on this one day because I once said something horrible to someone and I've never been able to forget it. I've never done anything like it since but it was years ago and I never even apologised, I can recognise that what I did was horrid. So think to yourself, have you ever done something like that?
