Chapter 20

Niall's P.O.V

Niall sat down on the sofa, looking at notifications on his phone. He hadn't liked going on Twitter, too many people accused him of being a killer, that somehow there was another way. Still, there were some fans who had stayed, some who were intensely supportive and if anything felt concerned for their beloved idols.

He tapped the notifications button, expecting a swarm of the angry haters to be labelling him as a murderer. But there was in fact something quite different, something that left Niall with tears of sorrow and gratitude. The tweets were all supportive of Niall, telling him that it wasn't his fault and although he had lost a friend that day, he should celebrate Liam's life for what it was.

Niall then had an idea. He called up his managers for the first time in ages, barely even sure of what he was going to say.

M:"Niall?" The voice at the other end of the line, was one of shock disbelief.

N: "I've had an idea." Niall bit his tongue nervously, unsure of the outcome of the situation.

M:"Go on." They said, still sounding surprised. Niall took in a deep breath to collect his thoughts before continuing.

N:"I think we should make a single in Liam's name, and maybe a music video. Half money we make from it I want to be given to his family, the other half should go to charity."

M:"I think that's great! Have you got any ideas for the chords?" Niall blinked away a tear before smiling with his reply.

N:"I think I might have something."

After his conversation with one of the managers, Niall put down the phone and walked into his room. There in the corner lay his much loved guitar, and although it was dusty from months of neglect, Niall pulled the guitar strap over his shoulder and began to play.
