"Adeen, where have you been! Aang was taken by prince Zuko and we could have really used some of your 'help'," Katara yelled as the gang found Adeen in a dream like state. She barely heard the words Katara was shouting. She was snapped out of it as Ama literally tackled her from where she was sitting apologising for everything she had done.

Adeen then realised what Katara had said.

"What do you mean Aang was taken by Prince Zuko?" she asked as she hugged a crying Ama.

"Aang was meditating trying to connect with the spirit world, which he did but in the process Zuko took him. I tried to hold him off but Ama and I just weren't strong enough," Katara sighed.

"What are we going to do," Yue asked, we couldn't save the northern water tribe without Aang.

"Zuko can't of gotten far, we'll find him Aang is going to be fine," Sokka answered.

--

"This was most definitely not our best idea," Adeen muttered producing a small flame in her hands to keep warm in the raging blizzard.

"Well would you rather loose both Aang and the war? Huh?" Katara hissed as Appa stopped suddenly.

Before Adeen could answer that question a bright blue light zoomed past Appa and Katara cried out for them to follow it. They followed it to a cave where Zuko and Aang's body took refugee during this storm. Aang was found tied up next to a beaten up Zuko who Adeen had seen mere hours before. Katara did a small water bending form knocking a clearly exhausted Zuko out while Sokka babbled about good quality rope. Adeen's eyes softened at the site of Zuko lying in the snow as she stood next to Katara.

"We need to get to the oasis, the spirits are in trouble," Aang told them as he stretched his arms from being tied in rope. Everyone ran towards Appa ready to leave before looking towards Adeen.

"We can't just leave him here! Are you heartless, he'll freeze to death!" Adeen yelled looking towards the group.

"Sure we can, let's go," Sokka answered.

"She's right Sokka," Aang scolded going to help Adeen lift Zuko up onto Appa.

"This makes a load of sense, help save the guy who constantly tries to kill us," Sokka stated sarcastically as Adeen tried to warm up the frozen boy.

Yue suddenly clutched her head as the sky turned red.

"The moon," Adeen whispered feeling a connection with the spirits. Ama looked towards her and as their eyes met she could tell her sister felt it to.

The gang landed in the oasis coming face to face with General Zhao leaving Zuko to the side. Zhao raised the bag where the moon spirit was being held holding up his fist to blast it with fire if we dared move.

"Destroying the moon won't hurt just the water tribe it will hurt everyone including you without the moon the world would fall out of balance," Aang pleaded.

"He is right Zhao," the rough voice of Iroh boomed making Adeen perk up seeing her favourite old man.

"Iroh why am I not surprised," Zhao laughed.

"The fire nation needs the moon to, we all depend on the balance," Iroh bellowed "Whatever you do to that spirit, will unleash on you tenfold, Let it go now!" he finished getting into a stance.

Zhao looked as if he was going to back down but Adeen's body reacted before he could do anything. Adeen blasted an intertwined fire stream at him just as he blasted the pond. She cried out in frustration as she fell to ground knowing she couldn't stop Zhao. A pain seared throughout her body as Ama also fell to the ground. Iroh had begun attacking Zhao as the moon disappeared from the sky. Sokka rushed towards Ama as the group stared at the twins confused.

"What's happening," Katara asked.

As Iroh picked up the Spirits fish body, Aang's arrows began to glow and he stepped into the oasis. The remaining Spirit circled Aang as everyone watched in awe. Adeen felt a hand on her shoulder and looked up to see Zuko looking down at her worriedly. Aang had suddenly been pulled under water making Adeen's eyes snap to the pond as she felt Zuko leave. The water began to grow into a large water spirit with Aang in the centre of it.

Iroh spoke to Yue explaining to her that she could attempt to save the moon spirit as some of its life was in her. Sokka left Ama's side to try talking Yue out of saving the moon spirit.

"Sokka she has to do this, it's her duty," Ama whispered as Adeen knelt next to her.

Yue pulled out of Sokka's grip laying her hands on the spirit giving it its life back before falling to ground. She was gone. Yue's body began to glow as did the moon spirits before she disappeared and Iroh place the spirits body back in the pond.

A breath escaped both Adeen and Amaya's lips as the moon reappeared in the sky.

"Adeen," the voice of Iroh interrupted the silence making those who still stood in the oasis look towards her.

"Iroh," she smiled hugging the chubby old man.

"I know this offer may not suit your fancy but I know you need a master to continue on teaching you the art of fire bending. As I said you are always welcome on the ship and it would be an honour to teach you, so one day when the time comes you can teach the avatar and do what is right," Iroh smiled softly.

The oasis was silent and the group was shocked to hear this news. Adeen looked towards Sokka and Katara who seemed uneasy about it. Adeen gave her sister a small smile before stepping forwards. The sisters stood before each other.

"I want to figure out what had happened to us during the whole thing as much as the next person but I know this is what you need. When we argued I came to realise you need to bend as much as Aang, Katara and I. I think you should go for it, just don't let that big-headed prince change your mind on anything," Ama smiled hugging her sister.

"We both know for a fact that if I go with Iroh and Zuko this won't be the last time I see you," Adeen smiled letting go of her sister and following Iroh to find his nephew.

--

Adeen lyed down on the makeshift boat a small smile on her lips as she stared at the sky. She couldn't believe she was actually glad to be back with Iroh and Zuko.

"I'm surprised prince Zuko, surprised that at this moment you are not trying to capture the avatar," Iroh said breaking the silence.

"I'm tired," Zuko sighed staring out at the ocean.

"Then you should rest. A man needs his rest," Iroh smiled.

Zuko lied down next to Adeen staring at the sky as her eyes went towards him. He did look exhausted and the scratches on his face didn't make it any better. He closed his eyes falling to sleep as Adeen pressed her lips softly against his cheek before following in his footsteps happily closing her eyes.

--

Ama stood next to Aang looking out at the sea knowing her sister was out there somewhere. Aang turned and ran into Katara's arms hugging her tightly. Sokka called for Ama as the four stood together with Momo and Appa looking out at the sea all of them with their own reasons.
