Patricia's POV - 7 Days until the wedding.

"Tonight we will play Truth or Dare, for old times sake" Amber says standing up abruptly. "Don't be ridiculous, blondie. That ain't happening." Jerome comments through a mouthful of cereal. Gross. Joy slaps him on the arm erupting a glare from him. "Don't be mean" she hisses. "So you'll play?" Amber asks hopefully. "No, I mean yes. No, I mean no." She says before turning to Jaden. "Anyway, we never really did play Truth or Dare, so it doesn't really matter" I say avoiding eye contact. "That's my point." She says glaring. I'm not looking at her but I can feel it, burning my skin. "Yacker, it could be fun" he says to me only before telling Amber "Sure, we'll play" She smiles, I look now. Amber has to be the smartest person I've ever met. "I guess we'll play too" Nina jumps in too followed by and excited Willow (also on behalf of Adam) and then, begrudgingly, Jerome agreed too (also on behalf of Joy). KT said she would join, Brooke nodded silently and I'm pretty sure Alfie knew he didn't have to say if he was playing or not.

"It's stupid, and pointless. Not to mention weird." I said flopping dramatically onto my shared bed, almost four hours later. The one I share with Eddie. I still can't over the fact that he wants to be with me. Forever. "Don't be so dramatic" he says lying next me on top of the covers. I turn into my side so that I'm facing him. He smiles, I'm not sure why. I smile too, it's infectious, you can't blame me. "Well, what are we going to do for now?" I ask keeping my smile intact. He turns, slightly, on to his side. Mirroring my position. "Whatever you want to do, Yacker" he murmurs. My eyes, not so subtly, wander down to his lips. His smile becomes a smirk. "I think I have an idea" I say leaning in. We connect and I forget everything. Why does he have this affect on me? He shouldn't but he does, I can't explain it. My hands are in hair, I'm vaguely aware. His hands are at my waist, I notice. I feel like I couldn't breathe, but I don't want to pull away. He does though, he pulls away, slowly looking down to me as he does. We're just lying there, holding each other.

Until, the door flies open. Amber stands there, hands on hips. She seems embarrassed as she takes in our position. What could she possibly want right now? Could it not wait? Honestly. She has the worst timing, ever. "Yes?" I probably sound irritable and tired. Well, I am. Amber just won't back off. I love her, but I really want to scream at her. "We decided to play now! In the pool, doesn't that sound fun?" She smiles almost tauntingly. "Um sure, we'll meet you there in like, ten, okay?" Eddie says before shooing her out. He closes the door and turns back to me with a longing look. Let's go then, game time.

After changing into our swimming attire (he wore some pale blue and red trunks whilst I opted for a deep red bikini), we headed out to the pool. Everyone was already in the pool when we got there. Amber looked nervous. What is she up to? "Come on Guys!" Joy yelled from Jerome's embrace in the pool. Apparently, the children were all napping, lucky things.

We were all stood in an attempt of a circle. "Who wants to go first?" Nina asks, obviously trying to not sound so bored. Everyone exchanges a look of awkwardness. "Oh, I'll go!" Alfie says after a slight elbow from Amber. "Jerome, Truth of Dare?" The reply is "Dare" and Alfie, sweet innocent Alfie, says "Kiss Joy". Are we really not past that? "You know, we're married, right?" Jerome says raising one eyebrow. Damn, I've always wanted to be able to do that. "I know" Alfie snickers. This game is so fun. They kissed. Alfie laughed. Amber looked annoyed. Everyone else looked unamused. We play for a little over ten minutes until Amber suggests a game of 'Never have I ever', stating that 'We're all playing it wrong so it's not fun'. That's didn't go to well last time, Amber." Fabian says grimacing. Oh, I remember. Now, I am fully aware of what she's up to. Two can play like that. "But this time we can play with alcohol" Amber says smiling. Of course we're playing with alcohol. "I can't drink it, but I'll still play but I'll use lemonade" Nina says. Lemonade you say. "No one else is pregnant, right?" Amber says making direct eye contact. "Not that we know of" I say, almost nervously. Almost.

So, we played. We all sat around the fire, shots lined up. Let's play. Again. Brooke dropped out of this one, she's watching the kids. KT first, "Never have I ever kissed Fabian" No easy start then. Nina (who was on lemonade) and Joy drank. Next, Nina "Never have I ever cheated" I look nervously to the side as Eddie drinks. KT doesn't even flinch. "Never have I ever kept a big secret from my fiancé" Amber says looking directly at me. Nobody drank, I couldn't. "It's boring, if nobody drinks. Target someone Amber" Jerome says annoyed, earning him a light jab from Joy. "I was" she says, gaze unmoving. "Yacker?" Eddie asks, noticing the direction of Amber's eyes. "My turn! Never have I ever used a book to see if somebody was suitable enough to date" Amber angrily drank. "I'm next. Never have I ever put my boyfriends life in danger" Amber hisses. I drank. She seemed shocked. "I think it's my turn again." I don't stop her. Everyone looks nervous. "Never have I ever had an abortion" I wasn't expecting that but, if it'll shut her up. I drank. I felt his hand leave mine. No tuning back now.
