Dear Gray,
I found a couple pictures of us in the attic,
Remember our first date,
Also our first kiss?
You missed my lips and kissed my nose,
I didn't care thought,
Because after we both laughed it off,
You tried again,
And your lips landed perfectly on mine.
At the time we were only what,
Thirteen?
But at that very moment
I knew exactly what love felt like,
And I never wanted it to end.
After I saw the picture of us
I sat in the attic and cried.
I cried because I could remember
Everything,
So vividly.
Your smile.
The scent of
Cologne you were wearing that night.
The way the butterflies
Danced in my stomach.
I remember it like it only happened yesterday.
I wish it had,
That way I'd have
two more years to call you mine.
..
God Grayson,
You don't know how much this hurts.
I tried so hard,
All I wanted to be was good enough
And,
I'm sorry that I wasn't.
Maybe that's why we are where we are today.
I'm sorry.
I love you,
Alana
