   It was Saturday.

One fifty-five in the afternoon to be exact.

I stood outside the Lovely Cups cafe waiting helplessly for Alex. He was fifty-five minutes late.

Maybe I was right, maybe he changed his mind.

If that was what happened then there's no point in wasting more time over a no-show.

Sighing, I grabbed my phone getting ready to text Monica and Amy about what happened. But my fingers wouldn't type it. They couldn't.

If I type this then I'll admit defeat and look like a loveless friend that they would feel awkward to be around as I don't have a boyfriend.

I sighed again as I walked down the street.

What am I suppose to do now? I promised them I'd take a picture.

While I was lost in though I was shoved a group of girls rushed by me.

"Did you see how hot he is?" One of them shouted and I furrowed my brows. Who are they talking about?

I used my eyes and scanned my surrounding. Sure enough I found the guy they were talking about. It wasn't hard to see as he could pass of as a god, a sexy one at that.

My mind fluttered with one thought in mind; that he could pretend to be my blind date. All I need is a picture and that's what I was determined to get.

The cross walk turned green and gave me a pass I needed to get closer to him as he was across the street from me with a person that I believe to be a friend.

When I got there, I slowly approached him with my phone on the camera app open.

Three.

I walked a few more steps closer.

Two.

I held my phone high enough to get his face and pecks in the shot.

One.

I took the picture.

"Hey what are you-" The man shouted as the flash on my phone went off. I ran away soon after it took the picture.

How embarrassing! Why of all times did the flash have to go off when I need a hot guy's photo?

Fate just loves making a fool out of me, doesn't it?

My phone buzzed at that moment and I answered my mother.

"Jane please pick up some paper towels. Your uncle didn't realize that we needed some." My aunt mumbled and I laughed. She was always nagging about my uncle forgetting things, though she wasn't any better.

"Will do." I said and then ended the call.

Looks like I'm gonna have to stop by the super market on the way home.

The rest of Saturday flew by and so did Sunday as I had fun with my family. Along with being a couch potato as my favorite television show was having a marathon.
