A few days passed since the incident and I was finally healed. My head felt better as I hadn't felt dizzy since two days ago. Not to mention the fact that I had a caring boyfriend who refused to believe me when I said I was fine.
Who knew that the monster would soon give into the kitten as he did. And I honestly never pictured that monster to come at me with a full blast of feelings. It almost makes me look bad.
Almost.
Too bad when it comes to the game of love Russell will always be a few miles behind me as my heartbeat was the first one to give into love's magical game. And no, there is never a moment I regret falling for him.
"Jane." Russell grunted as I soon found his amber eyes in front my green ones. "You sure do space out a lot for a kitten. Then again, that's what your species is known for."
I turned away from Russell and walked over to his couch before sitting on it. I still have a hard time believing this guy lives by himself, well, for the most part as his dad is always over seas doing business.
I don't know why but the thought of him being alone in this decent size apartment makes me kinda gloomy. I guess it's a good thing that I'm here to keep him company because I'm sure he knows just as much as I do how deadly the silence can be.
"I don't understand how you're so hyper when you're still supposed to be resting." Russell said and I rolled my eyes at him and he narrowed his eyes at me.
"You're just jealous of my energy." I said to him as I reached for the remote that was soon taken from me. "Hey. I wanted to watch Beauty and the Beast."
Russell rolled his eyes at my small whine as he sat down next to me on the couch. I shifted my body away from his to show him how discontent I was by his actions.
"Why would you want to watch that?" He said as I continued to invite him as I snuggled into a blanket I found. "It's not like you're a beauty. And let's face it, you already have a beast that looks after you. What more could you ask for."
"So you do admit it then." I spoke to him as I rested my head on the comfy couch. "You are a beast!"
"Correction." He spoke as his lips curled into a smirk and his amber eyes flickered with malice.
"Huh?" I mumbled as I couldn't understand what his intentions were.
"I'm a monster."
And then before I knew it his hands began tickling me, something I never told him as it was my weakness.
"Hey... stop! Please!" I asked in between my panicked laughs. But he continued and it wasn't until I hit my head against his that he stopped.
Payback.
"You did that on purpose didn't you?" His words were cold as his hands tried to relieve the moment's pain I caused him.
"Believe what you want. Because you'll end up doing just that anyways." I shrugged my shoulders as I smirked at him.
I knew he was upset. Not because I bumped his head but because I took the remote and put on Beauty and the Beast.
"And here I was trying to be nice." He spoke in a grim manner as he side-eyed me. "I guess being the nice guy isn't really my thing after all."
My eyes widen as Russell began to lift himself off the couch. Was he really that upset over the movie?
I grabbed his hand, staring into his amber eyes as they looked into my green ones.
