Dreams.

More like nightmares.

Images flashed through my mind at a rapid pace. I saw me and my first team and a pang of guilt filled my heart. It had been my fault that they died, I was too weak to save them.

Kura stood in front of me with a happy smile. Her mouth was moving but I couldn't hear a thing. She looked happy and calm even though we were on a mission. It was a C rank and we were supposed to bring this guy to his house which is a three day walk from Konaha to his farm.

Kura and I were best friends and were always seen together when we had days off. She also protected her little brother and did everything for him as well. We kept each other anchored and didn't let each other fall apart with loneliness.

It was a very beautiful day and the trees were in full bloom. I was sooo clueless back then. If I had worked harder I could have stopped it all from happening. I could still be happy, but it happened and I'm not the same anymore.

Sensei Kiri was telling us stories of all the times her and her husband went on wild adventures. She took care of me as if I was her daughter. I was three years old so she always said I was her cutest student. Kura was twelve like everyone else but she always said I was more of a twelve year old than a three year old.

It was only a three man team, or women team, we were all girls people! Soon there was a rustle in in a bush near by and we got out Kunai. A squirrel came jumping out with a nut shoved in his mouth.

"Hahaha he reminds me of Chiku. Always having something stuck in her cheeks." Sensei said while laughing her head off.

"Hey that's mean!!!" I whined while kura joined in on sensei.

If only we had known that this was the last time we would laugh together.

Before even sensei could blink a Kunai had flew through the air and stabbed her in the stomach. A scream pierces through me and kura's throat. Blood started to pour out of it immediately.

"Chiku! Kura! Run, take the farmer and go!!" She yelled at us while pulling her Katana out.

"No sensei! We leave no one behind!" I yelled while pulling out both of my katana.

"Chiku, I order you to go! Or I'll make you!" Sensei yelled while growling at us.

I nodded and put away my katana. I grabbed Kura's arm, and the farmers arm and sprinted off with them. A tear escaped my eyes but I kept going.

"Chiku we have to stop the guy can't run any more!" Kura yelled with tears streaming down her face.

I skidded to a stop and looked at the man. He was wheezing really badly.

"Get on!" I demanded while crouching down so he could get on my back.

He looked at me like I was crazy, but I just glared in return. He hopped on and I stayed crouched.
