Chapter 24: A Chance

Thanks for reading and voting peeps!! Sorry I hadn't updated lately! I've had so many soccer games and competitions, in fact I have my last soccer game of the season tomorrow! Now I can write all the time! At least till soccer starts again in the spring.╮(╯▽╰)╭

Chiku POV

   I was in a weird place. There was water on the ground and darkness all around. I was about to speak out when all of a sudden nine pairs of eyes appeared around me. They were different colors and by the size of them I'm guessing they were pretty big beings. Then an old man was floating by me. I looked around in confusion before looking at the old man.

  "Where am I? And why am I here?" I asked in suspicion.

   Then I noticed something, my ANBU mask and cloth mask were gone. The old man chuckled at me.

  "Child you're here because you have something in you that will save everyone. There will be no deaths on your side if you do something with it." He said with a smile.

  "Who exactly are you?" I asked even though I had a pretty good idea based on his outfit and staff.

  "I think you know that." He said with a smirk before crossing his arms.

   Sage of the six paths.

     I nodded before glancing at the eyes that surround us. I had a feeling I knew who they were as well.

   "They're the tailed beats, right?" I said as he nodded.

   This is weird.

   "So what's this something you're talking about?" I asked curiously.

   "Do you remember that chakra that surround you a couple times in the battle?" He asked and I immediately remembered it, so I nodded.

    "Well you've just awakened a power you have. You've been protecting konoha since you could walk. You care about the safety of your village more than anyone else. You have the will of fire, Literally. The power inside of you is the determination and will of konoha. Now you can use this power to save everyone." He said as my mouth fell open in shock.

   No way...

   He chuckled at my shock and uncrossed his arms.

  "So how do I use it?" I asked curiously.

  "You'll know when it comes, It'll be a natural thing." He said assuredly.

   I nodded and then wondered how the battle was going.

  "Wait how long has it been?!" I asked in worry.

   He smiled at my worry for the people.

  "Don't worry, when you go back Madara has awakened my mother. She will be fighting with naruto and them. You'll know more when you get there. Good luck child." He said before I started to wake up.

   I opened my eyes and heard nothing but silence. I immediately jumped up and looked around. A hand was on my
Shoulder and I immediately flipped them over me. I heard familiar groan as the old man laid there. I held back a laugh as I looked around and saw the other hokage with us as well. When I looked over I was surprised by what I saw.

   There was a gigantic tree with tons of branches. I could feel the familiar chakras of people I knew inside them. I looked at the hokage then back at the tree.

  "Who all didn't get stuck in the tree?" I asked.

   They looked at me then at the battle field. The old man got up and dusted himself off.

  "Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Sakura and maybe a couple more." The old man said.

  "We didn't get much time to see what happened to them. We were trying to fight off the branches and save people." First hokage said grimly.

   I nodded and looked at the tree. I had a feeling that was something I needed to fix. That's when I felt Naruto's chakra. It was like a connection to him. There was something weird about where he was. I could feel it, but it was like......

          he's in another dimension, isn't he?

   I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. That just made things worse.  I looked at the tree again and realised that there was a chakra link from the tree to somebody else near Naruto.

   Whoever it is, is taking the chakra from the people. If this keeps up, they'll die. Wait maybe it's the sages mother...ya that's probably it.

   I felt a tug in my chest. I was worried for the people inside that stupid tree. I remembered what the sage said and so I closed my eyes and meditated. I thought about konoha and all the people there. The little kids that ran around innocently and played fun games. The elderly that watched the world pass with a smile on there face and wisdom in there eyes. All the ninja, from Genin all the way up to the kage. The fiery determination in their soul that pushed them to do their best.

   I opened my eyes and everything looked different. I could see chakra pathways and the source. I could see far away as well. In fact I could see konoha. What surprised me the most was being able to see Naruto and Sasuke in the other dimension.

   This is so weird.

   That's when I looked down at myself. The fiery chakra surrounded me. My clothes were different, I had a white fighting kimono that had Konoha's symbol on the back. It had fire designs on it with a red belt. My sword was at my side, but with a new sheath. The sheath had Konoha's symbol along with a pure white background. I took it out and looked at my reflection. I gasped at what I saw.

   My eyes had burning flames in them. The Konoha symbol was also on my cheek. My hair danced like the fiery chakra. It stayed behind me and out of my face though.

   I think I can work with this...-_-||

  I turned around and looked at the hokage. They were looking at me with wide eyes and gaping mouths. I smirked and turned back around. I felt different, not physically...well I did change physically....but that's not the point! I changed mentally, it was like I was thinking about things differently. I walked to the tree and put both my hands flat on it.

   I hope this works....or else I'll look stupid and I'll beat the crap outta that old sage.

   Fiery light spread from my hands and up the tree. It shimmered as it connected to ninja. I poured all my love and determination into the chakra. The branches dropped and gently set ninja down. They all seemed to glow with the fiery chakra I had. Once everyone was free I put my hands to my sides and turned to them. Everyone looked at me in surprise. My guess is, none of them recognised me.

   Ha, guess I never did show my face..

   I pulled out my ANBU mask and showed them. They immediately knew who I was and we're awed. I giggled and put it away.

   "We have a job to do. So you all need to listen very carefully." I said with a smirk as I thought of the plan I had.

   We will win for sure.
