Chapter 13:The Disaster

This is it.

I walked along side the hokage as we went to the final rounds of the Chunnin exams. The old man was dressed up in his robes and I had a black cape thing that covered everything but my mask.

This thing is so big, it's uncomfortable.

I sighed and just stayed by the old man to keep him safe, but I doubt anything will happen. These exams are always so boring to me because it's just genin fighting.

I didn't turn my head at all but searched for the other ANBU that are hiding. I heard a hawk call from the distance and knew everyone was placed.

Good we're all set

Soon the kazekage came and stood near the old man. I glanced at him and immediately went on alert.

That is not the kazekage.

Whoever it was they really were not good at hiding it. I have visited the kazekage on missions from the old man. He may have been evil but not this evil. It seeping off of him in waves.

This is bad

While everyone watched the first fight, I created a clone and flashed away. I pulled out the crow whistle and blew soon ANBU appeared around me.

"Head captain what is wrong?" One of them asked as they all kneeled.

I was surprised they were even able to kneel in those capes.

"Be on guard something is not right with the sand. Ochimaru might be involved, do not approach him if you see him or others. Alert me immediately, you all have the seal right?" I said as I looked at all of them.

They nodded and then flashed away to their stations. I quickly flashed to my office and grabbed my two favorite swords. I also grabbed more special kunai and put my invisible jutsu on them. They didn't change but to everyone else they were invisible.

This should do it.

I jumped out the window and put the jutsu on myself as well. Then I flashed to the arena and threw the kunai every where. I didn't hit anyone obviously and then crouched by the old man. I looked down at the arena and saw Sasuke Uchiha was fighting Garra of the sand.

This is an interesting battle.

I looked at the Kazekage this time and studied him more closely. It seemed as though their skin was paler than normal otherwise they looked like the kazekage. I glared but got out my swords because I felt the air change.

Time to fight.

I noticed that Garra kid was screaming in agony about seeing his blood. Sasuke looked exhausted and tired. I could feel electricity in the air and was surprised.

I can't believe you taught him that Kakashi.

I noticed sand ninja surrounding the area and placing a Genjutsu on the audience. Most were dressed as ANBU. I quickly got out my owl whistle and blew into it. It made a high pitched screeching sound and the Kazekage seemed confused as to where it was coming from.

Hurry.

Right before ANBU could get to us a barrier appeared around us. One ANBU hit the barrier and his cape caught on fire. The old man was confused. Just as my clone was going to attack it was also kicked into the barrier and burned. It poofed into smoke and I was a little horrified.

Glad that wasn't really me.

"Come out, come out wherever you are little head captain" Ochimaru said in a creepy tone.

So it is Ochimaru

I shuddered at it but got in a fighting stance.

The old man turned towards Ochimaru confused.

"What are you doing kazekage? If there is a problem we can talk about it, no need for violence." The old man said while trying to stop any war.

Ochimaru was laughing and slowly his disguise fell off and he was revealed.

"Really old man, you can't even recognise your old student?" He said mockingly.

The old man gasped and glared.

"What do you think you're doing?!?" The old man yelled angrily.

"I'm going to destroy the leaf once and for all!" He said while laughing.

The old man was surprised and had some fear in his eyes.

"Chiku, I know your here. Do not help me I'm the hokage for a reason! Go help the villagers and save konoha!" He yelled while looking around.

My heart clenched and I hugged him quickly before flashing to konoha. I put on a strong facade and attacked anything in sight. I also had to flash civilians out of the way.

My eyes widened at two things that crashed into the gates. They were giant snakes just like the ones from the forest. A third one was about to destroy the hospital. I flashed over and stood on its head.

Secret fire jutsu: incinerate!

The snake turned into nothing and left no mess.

I love that jutsu:)

I flashed to a group of sand guys and injured them enough that they can't fight anymore. I then flashed to Ibiki and stood behind him. Two snakes bared their fangs at him and some ANBU. Then Jiyra came and killed one with his gigantic frog. People ahhhed at him and I just smirked.

Trying to show off we will see about that.

I undid my invisible jutsu. The last snake lunged and before anyone could move I incinerated it. Everyone was surprised and I just walked away.

Something's wrong.

I flashed to the old man and gasped. He was just stabbed with a sword of some kind. The old man had taken Ochimaru's arms so now they were useless. While I was distracted Ochimaru kicked me and I hit the barrier.

That teme.

Pain erupted through my body as it shocked me. I shakily stood up. My back flared with pain and I groaned.

"You're an interesting girl. I will be back, watch your back" he said mockingly as he escaped.

I ran to the old man's side just in time to see him look at me and smile.

"Protect konoha for me,Chiku" he said while holding my hand.

Under my mask tears had sprung but I fought them back. The life then faded from his eyes as he breathed out one last time. ANBU surround us along with nearby jonin. I stood up and turned towards everyone.

"The hokage is dead, but we can't just stand around and mourn. Right now we need to treat the wounded and repair our village. Someone take care of his body, also inform the sand that they were falsely led by Ochimaru." I said with no emotion.

I walked away and flashed to my desk but felt light headed. My back was in a lot of pain but I just sat down and worked. Until we find another hokage the work is doubled and I'll have to be on guard around for Ochimaru.

I sighed and put my head my hands. The tears I held back earlier were now streaming down my face under my mask.

This is a disaster..
