Chapter 18: An Important Mission

Here is chapter 18! Almost to chapter 20!! Also things will start getting pretty interesting as shippuden rolls around!

Chiku

Time skip two years.

I yawned as I worked quietly on some paperwork that had appeared. A little reminder seemed to click in my head telling me to go check the gates after this. I quickly stacked the papers evenly and placed them on Tsunade's desk to be delivered.

Ugh I'm so bored.

I appeared at the gates and grazed my fingers on them. They were rather sturdy and well built but wouldn't last a powerful hit. I turned around and looked at Konoha. It always marveled me how happy and peaceful everyone was even though there was a constant battle between ninja.

It was even more peaceful because Naruto had been gone for two years now training with Jiyra. I kinda missed him because he was my excitement. Although I was rather annoyed at Jyira as well after the incident a while back when Naruto left.

Flashback

I had just finished some paperwork and was walking around konoha. It was during the day and everyone was bustling around. Naruto had left a while back and I was bored.

I guess I could go see if I can get Tsunade to do her work. I smirked and flashed to her location. She was at the bar and some men were trying to get her to gamble with them.

"Come on, just one game?" A man with dark brown hair said while smirking.

"I-" Tsunade was about to reply when I flashed in front of her.

"She is not interested" I said in an emotionless tone.

I was currently in my ANBU disguise and in full gear along with my two swords. Their eyes widened as they saw me then smirked.

"And what are you gonna do little Missy" he said while stepping in front me.

I kicked him back causing him to hit the back wall painfully. He grunted in pain and slumped down unconscious.

"Wow kid, you got a good kick~" Tsunade said drunkenly.

I sighed and grabbed her arm while flashing us to the office. She groaned when she saw where we were. I sat down and saw her look towards the door.

"How about I make you a deal?" I asked while crossing my arms.

I flashed in front of the door and looked at her.

"You do your work and I'll buy you drinks one night." I said calmly.

She looked wide eyed and gasped. Her drunken look disappeared and she got serious.

"I will take you up on that." She said seriously while sitting down and started working.

I smirked and stepped forward when all of a sudden I froze. My head thudded in pain. My pulse quickened and I poofed out of my disguise into my normal self with my ANBU gear. I fell to my knees and clutched my head in pain.

Naruto?

"Chiku?!" Tsunade questioned worriedly.

I was panting and trying to catch my breathe but ended up coughing up blood. Tsunade gasped as she kneeled beside me. I then felt dizzy and tired. I started falling and going unconscious as Tsunade caught me.

"Chiku!" She yelled as I lost consciousness.

Flashback end.

When Jyira shows his face I'm going to have a word with him, but for now I better get to work. I flashed to the office and casually sat down and started working.

"Tsunade are you done with the paperwork from this morning?" I asked without looking up.

"Chiku?" A familiar loud voice asked.

I looked up and was surprised by what I saw. Standing in front of me was an older teen that looked a lot like...

"Naruto?" I asked surprised.

"Ya!" He yelled happily while grinning.

Sakura started laughing at the surprised look in my eyes.

"I told you guys he looked different." Sakura said while giggling.

"No kidding." I said while chuckling.

A few ANBU appeared in front of me kneeled. They looked up and I knew they wanted to speak in private.

"I'm terribly sorry, but it seems I must take my leave." I said before flashing to ANBU headquarters.

They appeared a little later and stayed kneeled. There was a serious feel to the air.

"Head captain sama! There is an important message from the sand." He said while handing me a scroll.

I gingerly opened it and scanned it over.

"Head captain of the ANBU, please come to assist us. I believe the Akatsuki are targeting something in the sand. I know you are working on the Akatsuki and trying to stop them. Please come as soon as possible.
-Kazekage Garra"

I closed the letter and burned it. I looked at the members and dismissed them. I then flashed to Tsunade and found her in her office. Kakashi and Jyira were there with her.

"Tsunade, I am requested at the sand village. I will be leaving today, but will check in every evening." I said while grabbing a scroll and placing a seal on it and sending it to sand.

"How will you check in every evening? There is no way you can flash between villages." She asked confused.

"Who said I couldn't flash between them?" I asked with a small smirk.

The bird I sent was halfway there.

"If anything goes after our village, place some blood on that seal on your desk or any seal in the village. I'll appear in a flash." I said before flashing to the bird that had arrived at the tower in Suna.

When I appeared, there were some chunnin. They looked scared and surprised. I just smirked and headed towards the kazekage's office. The village was Sandy and very different compared to konoha. Although it was still beautiful. I found the kazekage tower and climbed to the top really quick.

I should place my seals all over.

I did a handsign and many seals appeared all over the village. Then I flashed in front of the kazekage's office door.

"You may come in, Head Captain."
