Phil got everything he didn't want in life. He was his father favorite, but didn't take advantage of it. Phil's father was the head of the English Mafia, and he tried to keep Phil safe as much as he could. Phl knew that one day, he would have to take over. But Phil didn't know for sure, he'd rather be saving animals or teaching kids about animals. His mum said that it would be ironic for him to be the boss like his father. He didn't know about it.
"Phil I want you to be safe." His father, Michael, said.
"I know dad, but I'm not taking a gun to school with me." Phil said.
"Lion it's for your safety." His father said.
"You haven't called me that since I was five. What's happening, dad?" Phil asked.
"I think the police are on to us. Rick got taken." Michael said to his son. Phil held his backpack tighter in his arms.
"Okay, but I'll just make Chris be on guard. It's fine dad, I won't get hurt." Phil said with a smile. He got out of the car as they were in front of the school.
"Have a great day, Phil." Michael said.
"I will dad." Phil said shutting the door. Phil walked up to the large oak doors of the school. He sat down and looked around him. Anyone could be a police spy. Phil didn't want to be taken, he was only his father's son, would they take him? Maybe for leverage, Phil's dad would do anything for him.
"What are you thinking about, you nerd?" Chris, Phil's friend/bodyguard/protector, asked.
"Did you hear about Rick?" Phil asked.
"Oh, did daddy dearest try giving you a gun again. Just pull a Batman and be like 'I don't use guns'. He's your dad, you and your mum are like the two things he'd die for." Chris said.
"That's why I'm scared. Like he'd do anything for me, but I'm worried if I get captured by the police and they'd use me for leverage." Phil said. Chris was quiet, and looked at Phil.
"Probably, do you want me on my A game today?" Chris asked.
"Yes please, it would calm my dad down if you were." Phil said.
"Alright." Chris said. Chris's role of protector came about because Chris's father is Phil's father's right hand man. Chris supposedly is supposed to be his when Phil took over. Chris turned as someone yelled his name. Phil watched Chris's boyfriend walk over. Pj Liguori was a creative nerd wh Phil and Chris got along with really well. Pj even knew their secret. The three of them have been great friends for a while. Pj had someone standing next to him. A boy with brown hair similar to Phil's, only swept the different direction.
"This is Dan, I thought he could hang out with us." Pj said. He blushed when Chris hugged him and kissed his cheek.
"Yeah why not." Phil said. "Hi, I'm Phil." Phil said to Dan with a smile.
"It's nice to meet you." Dan said.
"Can I see your schedule?" Phil asked. Dan nodded and gave him the schedule.
"Oh sweet we have all the same classes." Phil said. Chris looked at Phil, he thought that seem suspicious. But Phil was grinning like an idiot. Chris had a bad feeling.
"Yeah that's cool." Dan said. He looked at the ground, as soon as he saw Phil he felt his heart flutter. To Dan, Phil was super cute and he already sounded nice. Dan couldn't have this, okay his father couldn't have this. He hated being a pawn of his parents. Dan was being used by his parents to gt close to Phil and learn the mafia secrets. Dan was only doing this because his parents barely know he's alive. He sees either one maybe twice a week? Dan wanted to make his parents proud, so bringing down the English mafia would make them so proud, they'd never forget Dan again.
