"Piper, you know how your parents are, yet you still do something so stupid like hang out with this girl."

"You don't even know anything about her!"

"Fine then tell me something about her. Like what's her goddamn name."

"Her name is Alex."

"Wait. Hold up. Alex? Alex Vause? The same Alex that gets on Jessica's nerves."

Piper nodded.

"Oh my god. It's like you want to die. Are you freaking crazy Piper?!"

Piper stayed silent and looked down at the floor.

"I thought she was just some random girl you met at school, but she turns out to be the one person who our best friend can't stand", Polly said frustrated.

"She's not our friend"

"Well she's my friend!"

"Well it looks like you're going to have to choose then Polly, because you obviously can't be friends with both of us"

Polly sighed.

"Piper you know that we're best friends. Of course I pick you over her. I'll always pick you over anyone."

Piper smiled a little and hugged Polly.

"But you know that this means that now Jessica will be on our asses too, right?"

"I know but at least now you, Alex, and I could be best friends forever."

"I don't know about all that, but we'll see. She better be cool Piper, cause I just gave up my status for this girl that I've never even really met."

"Trust me she's cool, you guys will love each other in no time"

"Alex please can you be nice?"

"Oh yeah sure Piper I'll be nice to one of people who makes my life a living hell everyday at school", Alex said sarcastically.

"Look I don't want any trouble Alex I swear", Polly said.

"Oh would you look at that, you do know my name, maybe you can pass it on to the rest of your pathetic fucking friends"

"Hey I tried to be nice but if you want to fucking-"

"GUYS", Piper shouted which surprised both of them, "Jesus, do you guys have to yell at each other? Why can't we all just be friends and get along?"

"Because I fucking hate her", Polly and Alex shouted at the same time.

"Well I'm sorry but I'm not going to pick sides, so either you two learn to live with each other or none of us can be friends and we can all die alone", Piper said.

They all remained silent for a while unit Alex spoke up.

"That's kinda harsh don't ya think Piper", Alex laughed.

"Yeah I didn't realize that this friendship will determine how we spend the rest of our lives", Polly joined Alex laughing.

"See that wasn't so hard was it", Piper said rolling her eyes and walking away from them.

Alex and Polly looked at each other with their arms folded across their chests.

"I still don't like you", Polly said.

Alex scoffed, "Who said I ever liked you bitch".

Polly rolled her eyes, "I'm only doing this because Piper is my best friend"

"Well that's the only reason I'm doing this too, so, truce?"

"Truce", Polly said before shaking Alex's hand.

It was obvious that they didn't like each other, and they probably never will, but they had to at pretend, at least for Piper.

"All for her", Alex said softly almost like a whisper.
