Piper walked into the dark green forest, following the bit of light that was supposedly where Alex was waiting for her. Walking in heels with this type of terrain was pretty nerve wrecking, and she questioned Stella's motive to make Piper wear heels since she had to walk in dirt and plants.
A short little walk later and Piper's eyes lit up as she saw Alex right there standing in front of her.
Christmas tree lights hung around the branches of the trees above their heads. A soft, fluffy, large blanket was placed on the ground. A little tree stump was being used as a table to hold a bottle of wine and the glasses to come along with them. An old fashioned picnic basket was placed near them. The scenery consisted of trees everywhere, of course, and straight ahead a lake where the moonlight would soon reflect on.
And finally the best view of all, a tall dark raven haired girl, wearing a tight sexy black dress, her hair looked like it had been done by a hair stylist perfectionist. Her lips red as blood, her thick rimmed glasses, her full body figure, just everything about her was perfect.
Sexy. Mysterious. Hot. Lushous.
A sexy confident smirk appeared in her lips, "Hey", she spoke.
Piper licked her lips and smiled, "Hey yourself", she replied. Piper started walking towards where Alex was standing.
Alex looked at the blonde and shamelessly checked her out. Piper's cheeks turned pink, and Alex giggled at her ability to make Piper blush.
"So what's all this", Piper waved her finger around this cute set up Alex had.
Alex smiled and tried to think of an answer, "It's just, you know, um I wanted to do something nice for us".
Piper's smile fainted, "Oh", that was not the response she had hoped for.
"Yeah", Alex said as it started to get a little awkward, "um do you wanna sit down", she asked nervously.
"Sure", Piper responded.
They both sat down and for a moment there was a bit of silence until Alex final spoke again, "I um I know you don't drink but do you wanna maybe try some wine I got?"
"Yeah let's do it", she said lightening up again.
• a few glasses of wine later •
Piper was leaning her head on Alex's shoulder as they watched the lake peacefully moving. Just as planned the moon was reflecting on the lake like a mirror.
Alex smiled as she thought about all the times and memories she had spent here before. Starting with the first time she's ever been here, which was the day when she accidentally discovered it.
It was before Piper and her had met. She remembered that day as one of her worst.
It started off with the usual bullying at school, verbal and physical. Sometimes on a good day Alex would catch a break and miss out on the second one. But this day was different, she wasn't bullied at all the whole day. She knew something was off, and that this was simply not a natural thing. Alex had been bullied everyday of her life by the same snotty set of children, she doubt that they would just take a day off. But that's exactly what happened that day.
She went home without any bruises except for the healing ones she had received the other day. It was a good day for little Vause. When she got home she couldn't wait to tell her mom about her amazing day.
Well her day was not about to end amazingly as she had hoped. She entered her small apartment only to find a man sitting in their kitchen. He had a black scruffy beard, his hair was dark. Alex could smell a strange smell, a smell that she would not be familiar with until later on in life. The man stood up as soon as he saw Alex and he slowly started walking towards her. His rough looking hand gently felt Alex's soft hair. She stood frozen, she didn't know what to do. And she forgot how to walk, or how to do anything for that matter.
