"You're a fucking idiot Vause", Stella bluntly told her.
"How am I an idiot? If anything I think I'm a genius for leaving", Alex told her.
Stella rolled her eyes and stuffed some popcorn in her mouth.
They were at Alex's apartment watching a movie and eating some snacks, the usual passing time for them (well that, and also doing some other stuff).
Alex had called Stella up telling her that she needed to talk to her about some things.
Thinking that it had to do with Piper, she came over right away. But it turns out Alex wanted to talk about a different subject.
"You're an idiot because it's good, easy money", she said.
"Please", Alex scoffed, "being part of any kind of drug ring is never easy, you of all people should know that."
"It was easy for you! You're a natural Vause, you have a way with the customers. Our business is going to fall apart without you."
"Okay, first of all, it's your guys' business, not ours. Second, it's not even a business. This whole thing was started just because 13 year old Trevor and Justin wanted to save up for a car", Alex retorted.
"Chapman has got to your head hasn't she-"
"No, this has nothing to do with Piper", Alex claimed, "Look, I didn't want to leave, but Trevor was going to kick me and Piper out anyway once he found out about us".
"That's bullshit Vause, he would never do that. You guys are like brother and sister."
Alex looked back at the TV pretending to be interested in the movie, her eyes glued to the screen if it were the most interesting film in the world.
"Hello? Vause", Carlin tried to get Alex's attention but failed, "Damn Vause you're staring at that TV as if it was Piper's bare pussy."
Alex snapped her head towards Stella, "Huh?"
She snickered, "I knew that would get your attention."
- NIGHT TIME -
Stella left, Alex decided to escape reality for a bit. And what better way to do that than entering a book's fantasy.
Everyone who knows Alex knows that her face is almost always buried by a book. Piper loved the fact that Alex, was a bookworm. She always asked Alex for book recommendations because she's basically read everything.
She was the biggest Stephen King fan, she loved his work. Most of her copies of his books were worn out and written on, captioning and highlighting her favorite quotes.
"The most important things are the hardest to say. They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them - words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when they're brought out. But it's more than that, isn't it? The most important things lie too close to wherever your secret heart is buried, like landmarks to a treasure your enemies would love to steal away. And you may-"
Different Seasons, Stephen KingA knock on the door, brought Alex back to reality. It was getting late, so she wondered who was at the door.
Groaning, because the noise interrupted her reading, she got up and went to open the door.
To her wonderful surprise, Piper was there standing at the door. Alex's mood suddenly went up, and a sexy smirk appeared on her lips.
"Hey", she said confidently.
Without saying anything, Piper walked right in. Alex didn't complain, she even stepped aside when she saw her start moving.
"Alex I'm so sorry about yesterday, it was obviously a mistake and it just came out of nowhere. I guess it was just in the moment and I didn't know what I was actually doing. I stayed up all night thinking about it and I realized that I don't care about my feelings whatever they may be, I don't want to ruin our friendship. And you know that I love Justin, Trevor, Jason, and Stella, but your guys' drug group or whatever the fuck it is, is not for me. And I could never date someone who does that as a living anyways. It's just too much for me. And I don't want you to get kicked out of the group, or mess up things between you and Trevor-"
"Piper", Alex intturupted her rambling.
Piper took a breath from all that speaking and Alex giggled at her.
"Don't laugh at me, this is really hard me and I was really nervous and-"
"Piper, I already quit the ring this morning", Alex said stopping her again.
Piper stared at her her mouth slightly open as if she could not believe Alex, "you did?"
Alex chuckled and nodded her head.
She took a moment but quickly comprehended what she heard, "Oh thank god", Piper grabbed Alex's face and kissed her. You didn't have to tell Alex to kiss back, she immediately did.
Piper pulled back, "you know, you're the only person who I've ever kissed that makes me feel this good", she said.
Alex giggled, "you know you're the only person that I've waited this long to kiss."
"Shhh", Piper put her finger on Alex's mouth to keep her from speaking again.
"Less talking, more kissing"
Without another word, or interruption, their lips locked once again.
