"Hey daddy, where's uncle Ashton?" A little girl pulled Calum top, Calum carefully picked her up, "Uncle Ashton is on his way! He'll be here soon Grace!"

"What temperature does the oven have to be, honey?" Michael yelled from the kitchen.

"Uh I don't know, what does the recipe say?" Calum put Grace down and went into the kitchen.

Calum hugged Michael from the back, "you look so handsome when you're cooking."

"I know babe." Michael turned around facing Calum, leaning down to kiss him.

"Ew!" Grace ran out of the kitchen, Michael laughing, guessing this is too much for a six years old.

3 years ago, Michael and Calum got married, and they adopted a girl, who was 3 years old then.

Soon there was a knock on the door, "that must be Uncle Ashton!" Grace jumped up from the couch and ran to the door, opening it, revealing Ashton's face, causing Grace to jump up and down from excitement.

"Uncle Ashton! I have so many stories to tell you!" Grace said, Ashton picked her up and walked in, followed by Luke.

"Happy thanksgiving Mikey, Cal." Ashton smiled, placing the Christmas presents on the ground.

"Oh my god, Cookie's here as well!" Grace squealed as Luke lead in a Labrador.

"Come on, we can play together!" Ashton took Grace to the living room and also Cookie.

"Why doesn't your daughter like me?" Luke sighed, "Am I really that bad?!!"

"I feel like she likes Ashton more than she likes me!" Michael sighed.

"This is ridiculous!" Luke said, part of him was jealous, every time they come down to visit, Grace is like a bubblegum, she's stuck to Ashton.

"Are you jealous?!" Calum laughed, "my daughter is like 6, and I will never approve it!"

"Oh my god, shut up Calum!"

"You're jealous over a 6 years old!" Michael laughed along.

"Who's jealous over a 6 years old?" Ashton appeared in the kitchen door.

"Luke is," Calum laughed harder, "you're too close with my daughter."

Ashton laughed, "babe, you're an idiot." Ashton hugged Luke from behind, resting his chin on Luke's head.

"This is why we're getting a son, girls don't like me!" Luke whinged, "no actually, I just want more puppies."

"But it's not like Cookie likes you." Ashton teased.

"Cookie! Cookie! Come over here!" Luke called out, Cookie looked at him with innocent eyes, not moving.

"Oh my god, I can not believe this!" Luke rubbed his eye while Ashton, Michael and Calum were laughing hard.

"Don't worry, I love you!" Ashton said.

"Happy thanksgiving!" Them 4 hit their glasses together.

"Thanks for another good year." Calum smiled big, "can you even believe how difficult is was for us 4 years ago!"

"I am honestly so grateful that Ashton tried texting Calum but messaged me instead." Luke smiled big, thinking bout the past.

"All I remember is that we went through so much to get to how we are now and I will forever be grateful." Michael smiled.

"Memories will be with us every step of the way, I'm so happy I found you." Ashton held Luke's hand and squeezed tight a little, causing Luke to chuckle.

"On this special day." Ashton spoke, getting up from his seat, "this is taking a lot of courage."

Ashton got down on one knee and pulled out a little box, opening it, revealing a ring, "I can't believe this took me years to do but I'm finally doing it."

"Luke Robert Hemmings, will you marry me?" Ashton finally said, "all I need is you, I love you."

"Yes yes Ashton! Of course I will!" Tears filled Luke's eyes, hugging Ashton tight.

"Remember your proposal?" Calum chuckled.

"Me face planting while trying to walk up to you was not in the plan, I already told you!" Michael rolled his eyes.

"Is uncle Ashton getting married!" Grace asked.

"Yes! With uncle Luke!" Calum replied.

"Yes! Uncle Luke why are you crying?!" Grace hugged Luke.

"Oh my god, she likes me!" Luke chuckled.

"You're crying then you're laughing, stop Luke, you're insane." Ashton teasing but still loving in his voice.

"Well, now you've just married a insane person." Luke laughed, Ashton wiping Luke's tears.

"I'm the happiest person on the planet!" Luke smiled, hugging Ashton tight.

"Honey, they're so cute together!" Calum smiled big.

"I'm so lucky to have you." Michael said, hugging Calum.

"Cookie! I love you!" Grace's voice made everyone look, she was on the ground, cuddling with a half asleep Cookie.

Ashton, Luke, Michael and Calum all smiled, this is the life they've always dreamed for.
