Chapter four

Hermione's POV

The next days I spent in my room, reading my new books. I read everything I had and tried to get a few other books. The most interesting topic for me was how this dark wizard got stopped. I read that this wizard called himself Lord Voldemort and he was so powerful, that the people refused to say his name loud. Instead they say "You-know-Who". I started to say this name, too, like I thought, if I say this name loud, You-know-Who would get his power back. I was a Muggleborn and this wizard hated nothing more than Muggleborns. There was only one wizard in this world, You-know-Who respected, and this wizard was Albus Dumbledore. Now he was the headmaster of Hogwarts and I was very excited to meet him. And I couldn't understand how a little child could stop such a powerful wizard. The boy, Harry Potter, should attend Hogwarts with me, he was a little younger than I was.

So all in all, I spent the rest of my summer in my room, only talking to my parents. I didn't have much friends, to be honest, I had no friends. All of my school friends thought I was a Know-it All and read way too much. So I was very excited for a new school where I would meet many new studentsand would learn interesting things like transfiguration or potion making. I started to count the days till the train would leave to Hogwarts. However, I was also very nervous to attend Hogwarts. For one reason, I was never gone from home so long. And for another reason, the much bigger one, I would meet this strange boy I met at Madam Malkin's again. I read in one of my new books, that the Malfoys were an old wizarding family with pure-blood. They were also followers of You-know-Who, so called Death Eaters. But they denied this after the downfall. I didn't know what I should think about Draco Malfoy. I thought he seemed to be really nice, but I was afraid what he would think about me when he would really know that I am not an heir of some important family. I already thought way too much about Draco Malfoy.
