A/N: It's 5am and I am done writing this chapter. Finally!
Now I can go to bed and sleep peacefully.

Octavia's words were lying heavy on Clarke's chest as a single tear escaped her eye.
She looked at Lexa, trying to make eye contact with her, but Lexa was only staring at Octavia in shock.

Octavia was paralyzed by her own words. She felt the strong touch of a hand on her shoulder and looked up. Her eyes met Nia's gaze and she was able to make out a smirk on her pale lips.

Nia nodded at her encouragingly and stepped in front of the crowd of grounders, who were as quiet as silence itself.

She looked around, took a deep breath and despite everyone's expectation's for her to hold another speech, Nia's low voice vibrated through Polis as she said only one word "Traitor."

The grounders stares burned on Lexa's skin. She could see their lips move but the she couldn't hear them talk.

After she realized what Octavia had said her senses died and she shut off. Instead of hearing the grounders shouts, she heard the deafening noise of her blood racing through her veins.

Her vision became blurry and the memories of Tondc being burned to the ground seemed to become real again.

Clarke's arms which were wrapped around Lexa's waist, made her snap out of her thoughts.
Clarke's expression was flooded with concern as Lexa's face had become pale and her eyes empty.

Clarke's eyes asked Lexa whether she was okay, but Lexa could only rub her forehead. Of course she wasn't.

Not even the fact that Clarke's arms were wrapped around her body made a difference. They had just been called traitors, and Lexa knew what they did to traitors.

Nia turned to face Lexa as the grounders shouts forced their way through to her ears. All they shouted was one word "Natrona!" {Traitor!}

Nia stepped closer to Lexa and looked her straight in the eyes, as she was still smirking.

"The clans made their decision. You know what happens now."
Nia said and pointed to a tree not far from her, that had already dry blood on it.
"Both of you have to be punished."

"No" Lexa said and looked at Clarke who had let go of her waist and was now struggling to keep her knees from failing her.

Nia's expression hardened "You know the rules. You made them."

Lexa's fingertips prickled. She felt the desire to grab her sword and push it right through Nia's stomach. She knew it would be a death wish, but didn't Nia just sentence them to die anyway?

Lexa shook her head at her own thoughts. Nia wasn't the one who sentenced them to die. The Clans did.

She lost the strength that was left in her body, and all of the sudden she felt so weak.
Within a couple days she lost everything.

Hundreds of warriors, the trust and loyalty of her Clans and herself.
She used what was left of her emotional strength and gazed at Clarke.
And as she drowned in her blue eyes, she thought almost everything.
Lexa lost all of her power but at least she still had the one thing her heart was craving for - Clarke.

She parted her lips slightly but before a sound escaped her lips, Clarke stepped forward.

Lexa hadn't noticed how Clarke's expression had grown dark until she saw her lips twitching, trying to form words. To Clarke's own surprise her voice wasn't as shaky as she expected "We need to talk."
