I dropped my all black towel to the cold tile floors of the bathroom. I stepped into the warm bath water and sat down, the water just over my chest. I raked my hair back and to the left side, pulling it down smoothly. It was long, and brown, and thicker than anything, so I could do almost nothing with it. I swirled my hands around the bubbles atop the water and let the soft scent of vanilla fill my nose. Just then my phone vibrated in two short bursts, making a loud noise on the ledge surrounding the bathtub. I reached behind myself and dried my hands on my brother's towel before picking up my old, cracked iPhone. A text from my best friend, Cameron.

Cammy ~ Whats goodd, Leds?

Me~ In the bath, ill call u later

Cammy ~ KK

Instead I dial my boyfriend Eric's number, and clicked the small camera icon. I opened it towards myself and scanned my appearance. I had hazel eyes, a silver nose ring, a few freckles here and there on the bridge of my nose, and pale skin. I took a selfie that showed just after my collar bones, and sent it to the number. I put on the song Besitos by Pierce The Veil quietly in the background whilst checking my Twitter and Instagram. Nothing new or note-worthy. Seconds later I got a reply. I clicked the notification and saw that I had gotten a picture message back. Only it wasn't Eric. Oh, no it was not. Denis. Denis, fucking, Shaforostov. Denis Shaforostov had sent me a selfie back. "Holy fuck." I breathed to myself. I had just accidentally texted my idol. And it was a fucking back selfie. Thank god it wasn't any lower than my collarbones. Shit. He's so hot. Oh my god. And shirtless. Oh my god what do I say? His hair was pulled back away from his forehead, and he was making the same silly smiling face that I was in my picture.

(***) *** **** ~ Wrong number? ;)

I didn't know what to text back other than 'Holy shit', so I did.

Denis ~ Sorry. Is this weird?

Me ~ No. Funny actually. Of all people in the world to send a wrong number message to. Denis Stoff.

Me ~ Sorry. Is that weird?

Denis ~ No, actually people call me that a lot.

I had no idea what to do. I had just sexted my idol. The lead singer of my favourite band. Possibly the most attractive person alive. I resent the picture to the correct number, before turning my attention back to Denis.

Denis ~ Whats your name?

Oh god. Are we gonna be friends now? Is this how it all starts? Is this is? Will we be best friends now and I meet the rest of Asking Alexandria and then go on tour with them and meet every other band that I am so entirely in love with? I think I would die.

Me ~ Leda McLean.

Will he know who I am? No. He's from Ukraine. Why would he pay attention to an American athlete? I was an Olympic gymnast, with three gold medals. Whilst I was originally from Canada, I had lived in Texas with my brother Kyle since I was nineteen. Our parents had died in a house fire when we were twelve and sixteen. Kyle was four years older than me, twenty six at the time, and I was twenty two. When our parents passed, we lived with out grandparents, unhappy and out of place in their strict home. Kyle was supposed to be a male model, but didn't really do much of anything in the way of making a career for himself, even though he insisted that we live in the biggest house we could afford. With both our "superstar-incomes" that meant seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, three kitchens, five levels, and an in ground infinity pool in the football field size backyard. I would have been fine with a two bedroom apartment.

Denis ~ the gymnast?

Holy shit

Me ~ That's the one

Denis ~ Woah thats cool.

Me ~ you are literally in the best band in history. I think you're winning for cool.

I got so distracted talking to Denis that I didn't message Eric back when he replied, and didn't get out of the bath until my toes had wrinkled. I returned my phone to the ledge by the tub, and stood out of the cooled water. The bathtub itself was big enough for at least four people to sit comfortably. I stepped out and wrapped my towel around my small body. I drained the bath water and put my clothes from the day in the hamper by the shower, and grabbed my phone before walking across the dark hardwood floors to my bedroom. I threw my phone onto the white sheets that covered my bed. The sole reason they were white instead of black was so I wouldn't loose my phone every night. I dried off and dropped my towel again.

"Leda?" Kyle knocked on the door.

"I'm naked do not come in." I walked into my closet and dressed in a pair of grey roots track packs and tight back tank top from the shelf. The walk in closet was my favourite feature of my room. The weird space ship doors were a close second. I climbed onto my bed and grabbed my phone. "Kay you're good." Kyle pressed the button on the outside and the door slid open quickly, disappearing into the wall. He had short, light brown hair, pale blue eyes, tan skin, and a saddening lack of piercings or tattoos. "Yeah?"

"I have thing so I won't be able to make it to your little party thing tomorrow night."

"What kind of thing?" I had been planning the party for far too long, and working way too hard to be sure it would be nice.

"A shoot. Some designer whose name I can't pronounce."

"What else is new. Why such short notice."

"It wasn't actually short notice before. But I forgot."

"And you just remembered now? Can't you reschedule or something?"

"No?" Kyle leaned against the dark grey wall between the inside button and my desk, and folded his arms casually. "If I can't be there they'll find someone else. I'm not the one that matters in this equation."

"Don't say that." I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways, I just wanted to let you know. I know that's gonna mean you're changing every single one of your plans."

"Contrary to popular believe my entire life does not revolve around you, asshole."

"Good to know." Kyle smirked smugly. "Night bitch."

"See ya later, cunt." Kyle left and shut the door behind himself. I turned on my phone to another message from Denis.

Denis ~ yeah, it was cool.

Me ~ Hey, I just remembered I'm having this party tomorrow night at my house. Do you maybe wanna come?

Oh god I just invited Denis Stoff to my party. What would I do if he actually came. I nearly died just texting him, but in person? I don't know.

Denis ~ Sounds cool. Can I bring the guys?

Me ~ Totally.

Is that a yes? Does that mean he's coming?

Denis ~ Then yes. I'll try to make it.

I couldn't wipe the smile off my face as I sent him my address and the time for the party, before we both said goodnight. I pressed the other space-ship button beside my bed and the lights shut off. I cuddled into my bed, and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't not think about Denis. No different from many previous nights, but instead of laughing at a joke from some interview still, I was excited. Excited that he said he would be coming to my shitty little party. Even if he didn't come, he said he would try, and that's enough for me. What happens if the rest of the guys do come as well? What will I do if I open the door to see my favourite band standing at my front door? Die? Probably. They're so perfect. Cameron and Eric would die if they knew that I had even talked to Denis, as they were just as much in love as I was. But I'm actually in love with Eric. Taken. I forgot to mention that to Denis. Shit. Does he think I was flirting with him. Oh god.
