CHAPTER 10

ZOYA ANWAR - POINT OF VIEW:

"She is responding" I could hear a female voice whispering. "Nurse give me the injection" A manly voice spoke right after. I tried to open my eyes but failed. Trying again I opened them a bit but stopped it as my head hurted.

A bit later I felt better, so I tried again and this time I opened them with succes. The sight was blurry first and then got clear later. Looking around I saw I was laying in a room. Hospital? what was I doing here? I thought when realization hit me. Wasn't I in the lift?. I tried to sit up when my head ached and I made out a scream in pain "aaah" and at the same a nurse came running toward me "you okay ma'am?" she asked slowly laying me down.

I spoke "Yeah ... I ... am ... fine" meanwhile I felt uneasiness in breathing. She run out of the room shouting for the doctor "doctor, doctor" and in a time of seconds the doctor run in with the nurse behind him.

"Hurry up the oxygen mask" he shouted and then I had it on in time of seconds.

"Hurry up change the glucose bottle right away" he said and then I felt something got stung in my arm. My eyelids felt heavy and I fell asleep.

AAHIL KHAN - POINT OF VIEW:

After Mehreen called me I run out of the birthday hall and tried to call uncle but he didn't picked up. Maybe he was in the flight?.

Reaching the hospital, I run towards the room Mehru told me and I halted when I saw Mehru with bloodshot eyes and swollen lips. Her knees pulled onto her chest and was sobbing.

Tears started welling up in my eyes as I saw her in that condition. I run to her. Reaching her I sat down next to her "Mehru" I said and she looked up at me. A tear rolled down her eyes and in no time she clung to me hugging me tight As I don't know what.

Stroking her back I planted a kiss on her head "Mehru relax, please tell me what happened?" I asked and she cried even harder.

"It's all my fault I shouldn't have left her" she said while crying into sobs.

"Tell me what happened?" I asked again and she told me "Woh ... ... ...!

"What does the doc ...?" I was in the mid of my sentence when a nurse ran out of the room shouting for the doctor. Mehreen stood up seeing the nurse.

She ran towards the nurse "nurse, what happened?" she asked and the nurse didn't bothered to answer. I ran up to Mehru as the doctor and nurse went into a room.

Mehreen walked up to the door and looked in from the little window. I went up to her and she hugged me.

I looked into the window finding Zoya laying on the hospital bed with oxygen mask on her mouth and the nurse was changing the glucose bottle. She was having IV's on her hand. Getting such a view of my sister a tear rolled down my eyes and I hugged Mehreen tighter.

" ring ring ring" my phone rang and I looked at the caller ID. Uncle.

Phone conversation:

Aahil: Assalam e Alaikum uncle!

Aryan: Aahil beta is everything okay, I saw your 13 miscalled when I came out from the flight?

Aahil: Uncle w ... woh Zoya she is in the ...!

Aryan: Aahil mera dil ghabra raha hai ... kaha hai Zoya?

Aahil: Uncle she is under observation ... in the hospital!

Aryan: What ... kya hua use? kuch toh batao mujhe!
