ZOYA ANWAR - POINT OF VIEW:
Ya Allah aaj itne salon baat hume wohi pyar wohi concern phir se papa ki aankhon mein dekhi. Unke aankho mein aansoo nikle aur w ... woh bhi mere liye. Aapne meri dua qubool kardi, shukriya mere Moula. Aaj aapne mere birthday par mujhe mera tohfa te diya, mere papa. Hume toh laga tha ke humare papa hote hue bhi hume saari zindagi unke pyaar aur concern se door rakha jayega, lekin aapne toh kuch saal hi door rakha unke pyaar se. Derr aye durust aye, Shukriya mere Moula.
Tears rolled down my waterline as I prayed the dua. I for the first time in my life hadn't cried the tears of sorrows but happiness. I am feeling very happy today. I got my loving, caring father back on my birthday and that's the best present I could ever get.
I slowly walked to my bed when the there was a knock on the door of my room "come in" I said and the knob turned and in came Mehru.
"How are you feeling?" she asked and I smiled saying "a feeling I never felt before, mast" and she came and sat next to me.
I looked at her angelic face saying "I don't want any rona dhona, samjhi?" and she smiled pulling me into a hug.
"I am sor..." she said when I cut her "Please Mehreen it wasn't your fault, don't be sorry, because it was me who was careless". We pulled back.
"Okay now you have to get ready, we have to celebrate your birthday yaar" she said and I looked at her in confusion.
"Yaar don't ask just get ready. I will choose your outfit" she said and I nodded.
Wearing a dark blue gown with silver embroidery on top we matched it with a silver diamond bracelet with my name on which Mehru just gifted me. I wore diamond earrings with a diamond ring. Letting my black wavy hair fall on my shoulders. "You looking the most beautiful princess she said and I smiled "thank you".
Dad called and we headed out of the room while Mehreen was holding me from my arm.
When we reached the living room it was decorated with balloons in different colors. When did they decorate it. There was a big chocolate cake on the table where there was written Happy Birthday Zoya Anwar. I smiled looking at the view.
"Happy birthday may Allah grant you with happiness" an old woman do I have seen her anywhere? came to me saying while pulling me into her soft embrace just feeling like being in my moth ... a family members embrace. Not wanting to cry I hurriedly wiped the tear away before pulling away.
"Thank you aunty" I said while she gave me a big smile and I returned the gesture.
I gave my salam to the uncle who I recognized as he was the one who came to meet me in the hospital papa's best friend and business partner.
"Where is the kids Ahmed?" dad asked uncle and he sighed.
"Well there was some problems with the booking of the tickets to Dubai, so they went to sort it out, you know!" he said and dad nodded.
"It's long time since met them, it would have been great to meet you sons" dad stated and uncle made a sad face "ab toh airport ya phir shaadi par mil lena" uncle said.
"Let's cut the cake" Mehreen said and everyone went to the table.
I cut the cake and made everyone eat a bite. We sang, danced, played songs and took pictures.
"Beta Zoya, come here" uncle said when Mehreen and Aahil bhai went home. I went to them and he made me sit beside him. "Beta this is some present for you, this is from me and from my sons" he said and I spoke "Uncle is sab ki kya zaroorat thi, hume kuch bhi nahi chahiye aap mere is occasion par aaye woh hi mere liye kaafi hai" he shook his head "theek hai beta, but you have to accept these presents" he said and I nodded.
