JUWERIA KHAN - POINT OF VIEW:

I was sitting in the car with this guy Zain. He is nice and didn't let me feel like we didn't know each other.

"Your address ma'am?" he asked me and, I nodded and told him the address.

"So basically you came back here after three years and then waited for someone to receive you and when there came someone it was your driver. And you told the driver that you will go home by yourself and at the last ended up with the car breaking down?" he asked more like informing me and, I looked at him and nodded but regretted it when he began laughing.

"Stop the car", I started and he looked at me from the road and asked "what happened?".

"Zain, I told you to stop the car you aren't funny", I told him and he looked at me and then stopped the car on the side of the road.

"I am sorry, I just found it funny" he told me and for an unknown reason, I found it cute.

"It's okay you can carry on", I told him and he started his car again.

"Juweria" he said with his voice which, I found beautiful.

"Yes", I replied and then there was silence for some moments.

"You are a nice girl, I must say" he said and, I felt like, I was flying.

"Thank you", I replied looking out of the window.

"Tell me something about yourself" he said to me and, I looked in the front window and leaned my head back on the seat and closed my eyes when a smile appeared on my lips remembering every moment spent with my family.

"You know, I have a brother Aahil and my parents my mom and dad who loves me like hell. The can do everything for my happiness, anything to make me feel happy and, I, I can do everything to let them feel proud and have the pride of having me as their daughter", I told him with still closed eyes.

I felt the car stop and then a door bang, I opened my eyes and turned my head to his side to find him nowhere.

I looked out of the car and found him on the bridge looking at the water. We were driving on the bridge.

I got out of the car and walked towards him. I now stood in front of him observing him.

He was holding the rail of the bridge and his eyes closed. The air was making his hair fall on his face making him look even cuter than what he looked.

I looked at his closed eyes and found a tear running down.

He is crying! But why?

"Zain", I said putting a hand on his shoulder and he opened his eyes and hurriedly wiped away his tear.

"Sorry let's go" he said and was going to walk away when, I took a hold of his wrist.

He need comfortness, I know he need it!

He stopped when, I took a hold of his wrist. He didn't turn to look at me nor did he say anything.

I walked two steps and was now in front of him looking directly into his eyes.

He was hurt, there was pain in his eyes, I can see it, I can feel it. It's was almost the same pain which, I have been through, I could see in his eyes.

There is something which he is pressing inside him. He isn't letting it go!

I was looking in his eyes and, I don't know why but, I put my arms around his neck and hugged him tight.

"I know you are in pain, I can see it because you can't hide it from me you know why because, I have experienced something painful just like you. You are hurt and, I can see it", I told him.

I felt dumb for hugging him as he didn't hug me back and, I felt like being ignored.

I was going to pull away but then felt two arms around my back hugging me tight.

His head was now in the crook of my neck while, I was stroking his silky hair.

"Just let it go, sometimes it's better to let it go because then it won't hurt and, I promise you it works because, I did the same when, I was b ... broken", I said and a tear left my eyes remembering that day.

He tightened the grip on me even more but it felt comfortable.

I don't know for how long we just stood there hugging each other and then he pulled away saying "Thank you".

"Don't", I said and he looked at me.

"Don't say it because what, I did was because, I could feel and see the pain in your eyes. Just the way the pain run in my eyes when, I ... just forget it", I said and hurriedly turned around so he wouldn't see the tear running down my eye.

I wiped it away and then inhaled some fresh air and then turned to him who was looking at me.

"Let's go", I said and he nodded.

"Your family must be waiting for you" he said and, I nodded but for an unknown reason, I didn't wanted to leave him.

We sat in the car and he drove off and soon we reached my house. I looked at him and he at me and then got off the car.

I got out as well and saw him taking out my trolley from the thruk.

"Thank you", I said and he smiled.

We exchanged numbers and then, I took my trolley and started to walk towards my gate when, I stopped and turned around to see him looking at me.

I run towards him and hugged him for the last time. Maybe it was the first and last time to meet him. You never know!.

I pulled away from him and he smiled to me "Thank you Juweria" he said smiling and, I returned his smile.

"Thank you Zain", I said and then walked back and soon walked in the gates when his car was nowhere to be seen.

I walked towards the main door, I press the button, but no one answered the door.

I was going to knock when, I found the door open. I pushed the door and found everything dark.

I gulped down the lump in my throat. I stepped forward in the darkness and then spoke "Hello".

"Is there anybody home" but, I met the silence.

"Mom"

"Dad"

"Aahil Bhaiya"

"Anyone please say something", I called everyone out but, I got no answer.

I took my trolley and was going step back in the darkness when they light turned on.

I turned around and then it come "Welcome back" everyone shouted and run towards me. At first, I was shocked but then a smile formed on my lips.
